They look great, but the more costly option of Touratech (£319) SW Motech €340 or Wunderlich (€419) are better. Crash bars are far more protective and it doesn't matter they don't have the BMW branding on. These firms often make the OEM accessories and work closely with the manufacturer when producing their after market equipment. If you're spending upwards of £18/19k on a bike, an extra £320 is academic. The bankst solution is a combination of those bash plates and the bars because bars will prevent contact with the ground but on uneven ground a raised stone can puncture the head.
