I am conflicted... on one hand, this was brilliant and the line about John Wayne not having the only strap in town was pure poetry. On the other hand, growing up in a rural red state, the original of this song was an act of auditory terrorism waged against me daily for years and I can't help but shrivel up inside every time I hear it.

I inadvertently sang the harmonies as the video went on, lol. My mom played a lot of country in the car and in the house growing up. Big & Rich was one of the names that suck out. The others were Martina McBride and Toby Keith. As for my favorite song, probably "Dream Walkin'" by Toby Keith.
