In all seriousness, I discovered Tøp (like most) during one of the darkest times in the battle for my life and soul - Tyler's words resonated so deeply with me because I had never heard someone make music to God that felt like how I felt inside. So sad you had to take clear out of the ending! I remember the impact of watching your animations for the first time back in 2012 or so. Love all of your work! And yeah, I remember the name seeming odd at first, but after hearing the explanation of the creatures is heaven constantly beholding His glory and singing His praise, it seemed like a perfect name! I want to take time to say thank you for this type of animation. I am 61 and don't know much about animate but I had the pleasure of talking with a sweet teenager who loves Christ and animae. At the time I remember asking God to protect her from things not of God. I have not spoke to her in over a year but I have just started posting these videos and isn't our God grand! Yeah, “Clear” at the end fit perfectly....I was making this animation when Regional At Best came out and when I heard “Clear” I was so excited because of what a perfect match it was! Ah, well. If Fueled By Ramen ever lifts the block, the old version will still be there waiting.

Me too, John - that’s how this animation was supposed to be viewed and the ‘Clear’ ending really hammers the message of the whole thing home....It is perhaps more than ironic that the very song in which Tyler is most explicit about his original purposes in songcraft is now the one that is censored almost everywhere it is posted...Ah well. I’m told that there are still a few versions of this animation in its original form scattered around YT, perhaps you can find them there.

This is from a version of Save that was released on the old TOP site before they were signed by Fueled by Ramen and after the No Phun Intended version. It was a free download on their site for a few months but after they were signed it went away and I haven’t seen it again. The screen in this version is from the original, everything else is from that limited release edition.

Still a beautiful animation, thank you for sharing it again. However, this strike really disturbs me. As an artist, I really hate the way companies and the music industry in general tries to limit the use of their songs, even if the videos follow fair use, are covers of the song, or remix the song. This time, however, it wasn’t fair use that they ignored, but direct permission given from Tyler for you to use it, which I’m fairly sure is illegal and really seems unfair for small creators like yourself. Hey Patrick, if you watch my explanation at the beginning of the video, that should answer your question. Basically, Fueled by Ramen did not recognize the permission that Tyler gave me to use this song back in 2011. It's understandable, but inconvenient.
