It amazes me how much wonderful art has blossomed from this game. Animations, drawings, AUs, comics, stories, everything. A lot of people say Undertale is dead, but to be honest... I think this simple pixelated indie game will be remembered for a VERY LONG TIME. And I think it will always be considered among the top games ever made. And good job, the animation was great! (yes, I cried.)

its almost 2023 and i came back to this video after three years of my initial watching and i’m genuinely able to say that the entire buildup to the ending def payed off because this managed to bring me to tears. i was watching this with my brother who is also just as big of an ut/dr fan as i am, and he looked over at me and asked me ‘are you crying??’ and i looked at him and i said: ‘yes, yes i am.’ this video/undertale as a whole has left such an impact on my glide and i cannot express how absolutely emotional this video makes me. thank you for being such an influential part in my life

WHY I DID WHAT I DID WITH CHARA!!!: Because so many are making silly accusations over a tiny aspect, --literally like 10 seconds of the video, and forgetting that this is my personal interpretation of the game and thus Chara. I thought I'd say why I did what I did with Chara. So, yes, I'm aware of the theories, but guys please remember that they are still Theories, and not actually confirmed as canon despite that there's "evidence from the game". I personally prefer to go with something a little more solid (canon) rather than fan made theories, whether there's a lot of evidence to back them up from the game, or not. There's also a lot of evidence backing up that Chara is evil as well straight from the game, and I think a lot of people are forgetting that. HOWEVER!!! That doesn't mean I didn't consider the theories and how some of you guys would be pissed because I don't follow your own personal interpretation on the character. The theories about Chara say how it's not actually Chara that is evil, but the player, who eventually influence Chara to be bad and go crazy. (in lack of a better explanation) Well... did you guys think that's maybe that's what I was going for, before accusing me of a mistake, or thinking I made Chara evil?... I made Chara the way I did because of the game, but also based on the theory, the animation still fits with the theory, with the whole "evil player influenced Chara" bit. Because in that scene, I'm not saying that Chara is Evil, or that any of this is Chara's fault or plan. The scene was actually showing the good in Chara and how positive of an inpact Chara was in Asriel's life, and the turmoil Asriel is feeling when seeing Frisk because he's naturally thinking of his loss for Chara, his best friend, it's why Asriel is in denial that Frisk is Chara until the end of the video (and game). When the Memory scene (the second scene with Chara) turns all dark and twisted, it shows the dark times Asriel faced, and how terrible things happened to both Asriel and Chara, and for those that follow the theory as Chara as a victim as well as Asriel, not a Villain, that would include the player making Chara go crazy in genocide rout. So what I'm saying is, I showed Chara the way I did for it to both interpretations of Chara, If you don't believe the Theory and believe Chara is evil, my animation fits your interpretation that Chara is evil. But if you do believe that Chara is good, Not evil, and was influenced by the evil doings of the player, making Chara just as much of a victim as Asriel from these bad times, it also fits the animation. I tried to make it fit to everyone's interpretation, all interpretations, whether you believe the theory or not, or good or evil, or whatever, in an attempt to make everyone happy based on how they interpret the character. But I guess I failed.... Besides. also... as it said in the video, keep in mind that this video is an *interpretation/parody*, so please respect that not everyone interprets a character the same way you do, and whether you see Chara as Evil or not, just know that not everyone might interpret it that way, so please respect my and other's interpretations of the character rather than making accusations and fighting..... so please again as said in the beginning of the video... keep an open mind.... thank you...

When I made people not make reactions of Death by Glamour, I got some hate because people thought I hated reactions, but I really don't! I actually really really love seeing people's genuine reactions to me work, but putting my unedited content in someone elses' video hurts me as the creator, even if they BEG people to go to the original video, not everyone does, And because of youtube's algorythm, it hurts as well. Asriel is probably the most tragic character in the game. in the end was Asriel REALLY saved though? he just turns back into a souless flower right? quite tragic T.T THE FEELS! i have never watched or read anything that hit me this hard or made me feel this deeply for a character! Undertale is quite unique! i would like to think that Asriel is still in Flowey somehow he just doesnt know it. i would like to think that Frisk takes him out of the Underground with them and takes care of Flowey helping him find himself again. gah! i need to have this headcannon or else im gonna cry m heart out even more! :'(

Asriel met his best friend and in his good heart didn't understand the former tried to assassinate his father and destroy the world while using him, the royals and the entire monster race to do it, after he brought him to their own house, then gets used to his fullest and loses his soul and kills his father in most endings but can never be salvaged no matter what Toriel fell out of love horrified at her husband's actions and exiled HERSELF to the tiny ruins watching as 7 people sent themselfs to their death after she begged them not to cause she knew what's waiting for them, after losing 2 sons!!! and hoping one of the 7 would stay with her. in some courses of the story, the 7th actually kills her, in genocide she realized she nurtured the harbinger of no less than the end of monsters and humans alike, and in betrayal neutral they kill her right when she spares them and puts her own feelings aside and dies what's possibly the saddest of deaths. can't make up my mind between last two Asgore well.. He lost two sons, wasn't aware one tried to kill him and in most endings ends in regicide by the other that after the former son's actions had his feelings and soul taken away from him He was successfully manipulated to think waging war is the solution and was deserted by his wife for that, then either dies on his own sword or by said harbinger of ending of all monsters and humans. I don't know what's worse.

yeah the Dreemurr family is really tragic. i always felt sorry for Toriel being alone in the ruins all that time, losing all the other children after losing her own children. i have seen both deaths myself, the neutral one was an accident, i had just started the game and i didnt know main characters could die, i went back to my last save and changed it though Flowey knew what i had done.

Those first like 10 seconds of animation really shows your creative interpretation of the game. Frisk's soul rekindling itself into her palms with the gentle piano followed by the camera panning over to Asriel followed by *DUM DUM DUM* is just such a pleasant few moments that really stuck with me even years after I originally watched this.

I see what you mean about the choppy animation towards the end... :/ But the video certainly holds its own! Wonderful work! I especially love how the middle section has a unique, fuzzier art style. That makes it seem more like a memory, which, in my opinion, makes it fit perfectly. It makes chronological sense that way, mostly because of the difference in art style. Brilliant!

for not knowing much on animating I have to hand it to you walking melons. you do great at it. yeah I see a bit of mistakes here and there, but really it was great to me. reason I can see the mistakes is I did study in college for animation. I never got to do animation for any big companies or anything, but *shrugs* I still animate short gifs and such every so often. I might get back to fully animating something one day.
