Hey guys! Thanks so much for checking out the trailer, me and my team worked SUPER hard on this trailer to make it the best it could be. This was my first major animation project and I'm so happy with the results. I want to thank my amazing team for helping me make this a reality! I want to address some things, I've gotten a lot of comments about this story not being canon. The First Human is an AU (alternate universe/timeline), so some details have been changed from canon. Think of this more as a story inspired by Undertale. That being said, Chara is still the first fallen child, this story is about Marine, the first SOUL collected by King Asgore. I get a lot of questions about Flowey and his origins, please know that I will eventually answer all these questions later in the series! I mostly wanted to write a fun story about a cute girl and a grumpy flower. Even though this isn't trying to tie into canon, i kinda like the concept of Flowey trying being nice from the start but just gradually losing his patience every time a human he helped reach the castle dies to Asgore with no results. At the first human he literally is always right next to her and constantly helps her, in UTY he is just there to help Clover revive and give advice or (mostly) emotional support, while in Undertale he just straight up tries to kill you.

This is just amazing. If there was an undertale movie, this would be the trailer for it. It has everything: the main theme playing while the character walks into the world, the side chracter gets introduced, the side characters does a mini exposition while shots of them walking are playing, some voice clips. Literally everything that you would find in a movie trailer. Amazing job

Flowey would exist. The "First Human" is actually the second human to fall down. Chara was the first. That means this takes place after Asriel crossed the barrier and came back and died. The thing I am not so sure about personally is that I think Flowey would still be a little less... evil or cynical at this point. That was supposedly a development over the course of many, many RESETs.

@@guideoftheriver Alphys has never said she ever encountered a human, and since Flowey existing only happens AFTER Alphys becomes the royal scientist and extracted Determination from the human souls, it can be assumed Flowey didn't actually EXIST until after 6 human souls had been taken, so it's entirely possible he had never actually met a human as Flowey before Frisk appeared, and in fact seems super likely since I seriously doubt he would have let a human soul fall into Asgore's hands if he was around.

I do like the ideas of the prequels for Undertale, we had plenty of things that talk about other universes of Undertale, which are nice in their own way, but I feel really intrigued on the different stories that tell of the other humans that fell before Frisk, how the other 6 traveled through the underground before meeting their fate.
