Brakes are critical safety components, so I’d recommend not liberally spraying WD40 around, not touching pad braking surface with oily greasy fingers, torquing all bolts to the correct level (over tightening and under tightening are both potentially dangerous), cleaning the disc braking surfaces with proper brake cleaning fluid (they usually come oiled to prevent corrosion) and then keeping all lubricants like WD40 away from them. Also, use axle stands for your own safety while working. Otherwise, thanks for the overview.

Good job. Except you got WD-40, all over the disc face and the pads. And most importantly, you did not use a torque wrench, on the calliper carrier bolts. Or the calliper bolts themselves.

Add to that he is working under a jack. A jack stand for safety and brake cleaner instead of WD40.

Do Q3 brakes usually squeal at very low speed just as they break free from a stop? New 22 Q3. Dealer says it's normal but they shake the hole frame and the car emits a loud tone. Suggestions to mitigate? Thanks !

Dude, you can't say rear brakes then show nothing about the rear. I need to know how to disable the electronic e brake, which is not covered in your video!

Hay mate, this was about front brake pad and disk. To disable the electric brake you have to use either a 12 volt battery and connect it with the motor or do it with a diagnostic tool. I believe there is a video on KZbin, I'll recommend you to watch it. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks

@@LiveLoveLife-DownUnder You shouldn't use WD40 as a brake lubricant. You should use a star pattern when tightening wheel bolts. You also need to lower the vehicle and use a proper torque wrench. This video is dangerous dude, you are hack.
