I was asked to make a load of bunting for the village fete next month, so I scrolled through YT and came across your method. I was so impressed by the simplicity, no cutting or measuring, that I bought two Zinnia Charm packs and some twill tape.

I wish I had found this video before creating a template and cutting nearly a hundred triangles 🤦🏻♀️. I'm saving this for the next bunting strings, thank you for sharing this great method!

I saw this on missouri star years ago. I made loads from 10” squares cut from old duvet covers. I found some amazing floral prints, very pretty. Great way of recycling. I’d not thought of making such tiny ones.

Tiny ones would make cute garland!

This is a great idea. I would put a bit of glue when placing the flags in the fold of the tape as it would stay in place a bit better.

If I the can’t find a pack of squares (I’m in Australia) how big do I cut the squares?
@SewingStudio3 ай бұрын
The charm packs shown in the video are made up of 5 inch squares of similar colours. Each fabric pack has 42 pieces. Happy sewing!

What is the width of the twill tape you used?
@MaikoZafiro Жыл бұрын
I think it looks like 25mm. Each square of the cutting mat is 1 inch and the tape looks to be about the width of one square.
