I pay 600 usd for a S10+ 512 gb, in México the ipad cost arround 1000 usd the ipad air, I think the over price in other countries is a real big deal to decide witch one you gonna buy. Great option bouth 👍🏽

I was in dire need of a tablet upgrade with my Galaxy Tab S7 FE slowing to a crawl, and even though I use an iPhone, I knew I wanted an Android tablet because I appreciated the versatility (expandable storage, wider emulation options, easier uh... 'alternative' (🏴‍☠️) methods for movies and apps, etc). Of course, I'm fully aware that iPads are better for video/photo editing with their better apps, but my main use was reading/marking documents and watching media and a little bit of gaming, so Android suits my needs just fine. The question was whether I should buy the new Tab S10, or just go for the older S8/S9 series. Going for older models didn't seem like too bad of an idea, especially since they were much cheaper used and the upgrades from a Tab S9 to S10 are marginal at best. What ultimately tipped me over to the S10 was the 7 years of support. It's crazy to think that I'd still be using this thing in 2031 and it'd be still fully supported by Samsung til then. I can't help but think that I'd feel screwed over if I owned Tab S9 though; I don't see why the Tab S10 can be supported that long and the virtually identical S9 can't. Also their trade-in deals are pretty insane, especially when combined with the student discounts they also have; it didn't really make sense to buy the older tab models since this new one only cost a tiny bit more with all those discounts. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, but the only thing that kiiiinda has me regretting it is the release of that new Snapdragon chip; I'm starting to wonder if I just bought into a decidedly last-gen device here because of that. But so far I can't complain about the performance or battery life, so whatever I guess. I just hope it doesn't slow down as drastically as my Tab S7 FE did.

The FE editions are always underpowered, which would explain why it slowed down. However, keep in mind that over the years, after so many app and software updates, the tablet keeps all the junk cache data, which slows down your device. I usually recommend backing the device up and performing a factory reset every couple of years, but at the very least, boot into the recovery menu and clear the system cache after every software update (not after security updates, although it doesnt hurt to do, it's not needed after those). Also remember to uninstall apps you no longer use as well.

did you clear cache and temp files? if not clear it also put apps most apps you dont use to sleep and deep sleep on those agressive apps that runs in the back ground. clearing cache and temp files are somewhat a maintenance thing on android do it atleast every 2 weeks

I planned on buying the iPad Air but I couldn't believe how rubbish the display was when viewed next to the Samsung S10 plus. I initially thought the Samsung tablet was a little overpriced but the display is obviously the most important aspect of a tablet. The Samsung display is sensational. The speakers are also much better. The iPad Air just isn't good enough for the money Apple is demanding. Funnily enough, I chose to walk away from both of them as I still think the Samsung tablets are a little bit overpriced. Tablets just shouldn't be at this $1,000 or £1,000 price level. They are just too expensive when a MacBook Air or a Microsoft surface Pro can be had for a similar price. These latter two are proper computers and offer far better value for money.

funny you mention overpriced because that's the only reason i haven't tried a surface pro yet, every time i look at the specs and price compared to every other brand i just can't pull the trigger LOL - maybe i should get one just to make a video about it...

@@FishBeeProductions I don't disagree with you. I think they are overpriced but I think for many people they offer more flexibility and value. Because not only are you getting a tablet, even though it's not a great one, you are getting a full fat computer. The iPad and the Samsung Tab S10 are not really full fat computers with their mobile operating systems. My biggest issue with tablets is the fact that they don't have desktop class web browsers. I think the only way you get one on the Samsung is by using Opera browser. I'm pretty sure the mobile opera browser is 99% of its desktop version. It's certainly much better than the Samsung browser which is still better than the rest. Safari is not bad on iPad OS but it is not like Safari on Mac OS. It just fails to render so many sites properly and working from a mobile browser is just a s*** experience. I usually find that Chromebooks are much better than the tablets for getting real work done because while they are underpowered on the whole, they offer full desktop browsers where any type of work can be done. Over time, I have used my tablets less and less. Because my Samsung s24 Ultra provides all my mobile needs, and my MacBook serves my computing needs for my business. I find that a tablet doesn't really do anything for me as I don't play games. So what really is the point in a tablet especially when it costs $1,000 or £1,000? I think at these price levels, they need to do much more. I think the Samsung Tab should include Chrome OS for people that really do need to do proper work. Samsung Dex is ok but I cannot work from it personally. There are just too many glitches. And iPad OS is awful when using stage manager. At $1,000 a piece, they need to offer something more from a software perspective. If the Samsung tablets had Chrome OS as a side load, I would buy one instantly!!! There would be so much more value.

The tab s8 ultra and + are still in my possession , due to certain reasons I was in the oppurtunity to buy myself the tab s10 ultra.... but I doubted for the ipad air 13 inch.....so I bought that too....no I am not rich but saved a long time for them....and I need them both for different reasons.

I got the s10 plus, i was convinced that i shouldve just gotten the s9 for cheaper since alot of people say its pretty much the same. Well unfortunately i had already put on my glass screen protector 🫠 but its okay, ive never owned a tablet so im still happy with this turn out

At first I was a bit skeptical about that MediaTek chip, but after I heard about that 7 years of software updates, it convinced me that they at least believe that this chip is good enough to last that long. I got my S10+, and I'm loving it. The performance is great so far.

If they release an equivalent spec smaller tablet for a lower price(500-650) ill probably get it, but as things stand in the medium to small size tablet market ipads are definitely the most premium and long lasting options available

My m2 13 has been a traveling dream. I can work on designs in affinity. I really don’t worry about battery life. I also live off grid and it totally replaced mt dell laptop. If I need extra sound I have an anker in my bag. Fishbee reviews helped me with my decision, it’s been about 4 months now. So thanks !

How's the Gallery of Galaxy Tab? I use a micro SD card to store files and photos and found that when I open the photos it will also appear in the Gallery which is somewhat defeat the purpose of having an external storage. I don't want to clutter the Gallery. So far this is the one thing I hate on my tab S9 FE. I should have return it as soon as I found out but I like writing notes on it and I don't need to charge the pen.

S10 is lowkey a waste of money. I don’t think a sane person should pay for s10+ just for the better screen compared to s9. S9/s9+ overall are much better value,like by a huge margin. S10 series so far is a failure.

Still not worth it What use is 7 year of update for those who play games tho, not everyone play games but majority does with tablets therefore the reason we are getting constant high end chips in tablet nowadays and ipads are using M chips. Even for a normal usage with no games, s10 is a pure waste of money. S9 can do the same stuff and cheaper, want a bigger tab? S9+ exists lmao. I was considering s10+ till I saw how bad it performed sadly.

@@FishBeeProductions yeah i traded in my s7 plus and I'm supposed to pay 450 bucks for the 10 plus if everything goes to plan. But I'm kinda disappointed in how the gpu is slower than the s24..... And that the tablet bends easier than the s7 plus. And that the screen displays colours are worse than the s7 plus, if you open a grey scale and colour scale tester and set it to 256 segments you will probably see uneven colours as colours fade to black. Plus, it uses the dimensity 9300 plus instead of the 9400 plus which is already out and can actually compete with next year's snapdragon 8 elite.... It's like samsung says screw you because you like samsung tablets.
