Use it with the whipping cream, NOT the leave-in. But you also could have applied an oil to your hair after the leave-in, but before the gel, to stop it from flaking!

I wanted to give it a try the way I would typically do my wash n gos 😭 I wish I would’ve known the leave in didn’t work with the gel, I would’ve just gotten the whipping cream. Better luck next time. Thanks for watching!!

I tried the mielle pink line and it was trash. Now I’m convinced it was just this one. I use Loc method with wash n go to avoid flakes. After I apply gel, I seal with oil ( castor oil or almond oil )

@@MinksKinks I use eco the red cap. What affects the hold for me is based on the leave in used. Some leave in focus on moisture like you said.

I tried the mousse and cream. The fragrance was soo strong lol, not bad though.

I actually have heard pretty good things about the mousse. The fragrance is a little loud, but I love it. Strictly summertime.

The Whipped Creme works perfectly with the gel for a WnG without flaking. I only used the whipping creme and gel for a great result. It actually was quite moisturizing and I like it better than that leave in. I learned the hard way after not reading the instructions and just assuming that leave in would work with it. I was so annoyed...had to wash my hair over...lol! She definitely could've left that leave in out of this line. The only thing that leave in worked with was the mousse to that line.

They could’ve left the leave in out for sure 😭 I never understand why all the products in the line don’t mix

@@MinksKinks Exactly! I was honestly confused because how you make products that don't mix well together even in the same line. I still have some of the leave in left but said I'll just keep using it with the mousse to get rid of it. The Whipping Creme is definitely better imo. Like I said that leave in wasn't even needed tbh...smh!

@MinksKinks No definitely don't need both. I found the creme to be kinda similar, just a slight bit thicker. But I like it better than the leave in.

I can’t get that leave in to work with anything. I do like the cream in this line with the gel for a twist out

That leave in only worked with the mousse from that line. I love the whipped creme and gel for a WnG. They blended perfectly. That leave in she could've left out cause it's useless...Lol!

I had suchhhhh high expectations and I hadn’t heard bad reviews 😭 but I think that leave in + xathum gum in the gel is a dangerous combo ❄️

I don’t think she makes any “good” gels based on the reviews that I’ve read on the website today. I do love the rosemary & mint cream styler, which has a gel more than medium but not quite firm hold. Now that is really good.

@@MinksKinks that gel is trash🤦🏾‍♀️. No hold whatsoever. Maybe a 2-day hairstyle at most. The best thing about it is the smell🤷🏾‍♀️, IMO
