On a more serious note, A member of the metal working community lost his shop in Mayfield. Pete Zila did a video about this unfortunate family. As you all know, I don't even ask for subs or likes, but if you can spare a few bucks to help this hardworking husband and father of two little kids, I sure would appreciate it. Thank you! www.gofundme.com/f/kentucky-tornado-damage kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqaroHelbtCmn5o

I probably won't be able to see through it for long. I was using shitty hardboard, but it gets oil soaked.

@@jagboy69 Yes, or sparked if I get it really going and throw blue swalf. I just started a slide along “chuck oil guard”. To see if I can stop it throwing oil and bits all over the floor. :o) Aluminium seems the average material between plastic sheet and steel, so I got the TIG going.

Good tip. I think I tried this years ago and got annoyed with it because it was always in the way (no pun intended). I'll give it another try though.

I had one made out of masonite for the last year. It was oil soaked and nasty. The only downside is if your are running flood coolant, it will piss all over your feet.🥺

Thanks! You never know what kind of craziness you'll find on this channel. I should have my head examined for this latest project! :-)
