Getting cats to play when YOU want to play is truly a skill, and you did it! My cats would’ve just sat & stared at the toys with contempt, until they decided they were good & ready to engage with them😂 Thank you for another year of taking care of all of these fuzzy butts, I know it’s been a rough year with illness & loss, but you’ve given these wonderful animals so much joy & love, and getting to watch them explore their new (very spoiled) lives is such a pleasure🥰❤️

Weasel-Ball!!! Our dogs LOVED playing with these! It’s always been one of the favorite toys of all our dogs, along with Kongs and the duck (a wooden duck on a stick with leather “feet” attached to wheels that you can run around the house; we had to store it in a closet because some of our dogs loved these things so much, they wouldn’t leave it alone and would get excited as soon as we went to open the door; we’ve had several of these ducks and they never fail to get a chase going). I hope the fur-babies warm up to it! Also, that pool room is gorgeous, Marty is adorable, and ChiChi is still as cute as a button! She’s still the lovely little moo-cow mink, and it’s so sweet seeing her enjoy the water so much. Merry Christmas to you, Ethan, Freya, and all the wonderful quadrupedal members of the SaF family!

awe cute lil weasel. I love scientific names for animals. vulpes vulpes for red fox, I call my rabbit my little lagomorph lol. I have a biology degree and took Vertebrate- and Invertebrate-Zoology courses where it was all naming down to genus and species!

The minks have so much personality and are a joy to watch. I can't believe they are slaughtered and turned into coats! I did some research and found out it takes 150-200 minks to make a full length fur coat. That's 200 precious animals bred on a farm, being held captive in a small wire cage and being treated poorly. Unfathomable! Fur farms of all types need to be made illegal and shut down forever. Mikayla, you had a dream to shut down a fur farm and find homes for over 500 foxes. One woman, an entire fox fur farm. You made it come to fruition along with all the volunteers and other animal rescue centres and adopters. That is quite the legacy!
