Poor guy! He had to live his life at the fur farm and then when he gets rescued, this happens! I hope that he'll get better soon. ❤ I will definitely keep him in my thoughts. 🙏🏻 Thank you for taking such good care of him.

Im so sorry to hear he is dealing with liver failure. I had a yorky mix that had the same condition, maybe not as bad? But the vet had me give her milk thistle and it corrected that in less than a year. We got to a weekly preventative dose after 9 months. She had heart issues also and we lost her at 12 years old but her liver was excellent for the last 7 years of her life with no medications for it ( just her heart ) . Thanks for all the care you give all the foxes!

Having fostered kittens that tested positive for calicivirus (only one of those three are still with us, but she's fighting and seems to be doing well with her treatments), I have a better understanding of how much love, time, patience, and dedication goes into helping medical cases like poor Teefers here. The Fox Fur growing owner is despicable. Henry Berg 19th Century founder of the ASPCA used Britain's animal protection laws to also prevent cruelty to Children which led to the birth of Child protection also. This is a case where the State should step in because too many of these poor foxes are developing health conditions and risk transmittibf diseases to humans also.

Poor baby. Thank you for working so hard to help him! Maybe ask the vet about dandelion leaf. Not sure if foxes would like it or if it’s safe for them, but if the vet said it was safe, it could help with appetite. Works for my guinea pigs whenever they’re sick and won’t eat. They go from eating nothing to half their normal meal within like 15-30 mins. Only down side is it’s a diuretic, so he’d prob need more fluids, but it might get him to drink more on his own too. Anyway, figure it’s worth asking about.

Yeah. You can definitely see the yellow colouration in his eyes. I hope he can make a recovery for his liver failure. I know that the liver can regenerate. So if there is any hope. I want the best for him.
