She was seen as the liar and manipulating person she was while posing as a god fearing woman. Doing the wrong things for t he "right reasons" she ain't a bad person but to keen to have her sacrifices seen and acknowledged to make herself a matyr

Because she was super religious and saw Mary go off the path a little straying away from their friendship and also because Mary was okay with Dean being gay and was going to except that she is pregnant knowing that Jesus still loved her and Hilary Faye felt like she did not understand it trying to get all the correct answers from Jesus doing what must be right but instead doing things that didn't seem necessary to keep faith with Jesus.
