Why heat treat the internal grooving bar ? Over the years of making such tools I've never found this necessary. Good work on your projects. I don't know how you keep everything so clean!

I saw this tool and thought yes am going to copy but thinking about it would the bolt in the end not snap the carbide before it was tight enough to hold it there under the strain of cutting

I did make something similar before but bored a hole in boring bar and put a rod through hole with slot for carbide bit in rod and bolt in end and it still kept snapping the carbide bit when tightened enough

Ich war etwas Überrascht weil Werkzeuge für Drechsler angekündigt waren und ich dann die schönen Arbeiten eines Drehers vorfand , der in einer gut Ausgestatteten Werkstatt Arbeitet . Da ich selbst Metaller bin , aber als Hobby Drechsler könnte ich mir mit dieser Werkstatt wirklich viele meiner Werkzeuge selbst bauen . Vom Halter bist Aufnahmen für Tassenstähle wäre alles möglich . Gute Arbeiten , Kompliment !👍

Just regrind your tips on a diamond wheel. Leave the tip in the holder & grind your own geometry, this type of deep chip breaker can take larger cuts but will wear faster which won't matter as you regrind them yourself.i don't even use my tool & cutter grinder to put in this these large chip breaker i made a simply jig & it's faster to regrind it than having to set up all the angles on the T&C grinder.

Why didn’t you make the center punch fit tighter inside the tapered locator ? I could see it was a sloppy fit! Otherwise it’s a good idea, a sort of universal transfer punch! Where do you live, Russia? I thought I saw some Cyrillic on a poster on the wall in one of the shots! I follow one or two other Russian machinist channels.
