Jocelyn you will never believe it but today I found 4 Glassy Babies at Goodwill for $2.49 each. Also a Georges Briard Fire King covered casserole for $5.49. All in excellent condition.

Have a terrific birthday! Get a small bottle of sewing machine oil. (It is very light weight oil) Keep it at the shop for music boxes that aren't playing. Just one drop of oil can cause the mechanism to spin at the correct speed. Music boxes are easy to fix and there are a lot of great videos on youtube to show you how. I always try to get a discount on "broken music boxes" since I know how to repair them.

My parents had one of those silver spiral Dansk candle holders back in the 80’s. I loved that piece but we never burned the candles because replacing them was very difficult and expensive. Hopefully it’ll be easier now with the internet.

I use older glass and make water fountains, plate flowers, mushrooms, bird feeders etc. I do not use valuable old glass. I use items that are so over stocked, and turn useless pieces and make beautiful items people enjoy again.

I'm in Vancouver on the west coast of Canada. We don't have Goodwill stores, we have Value Villages (for profit) every store is so jam packed that you really can't see anything past the front row items. So much of their stuff is broken and in really rough shape. I don't donate to them, ever. Their prices are ridiculously high, for junk!!
