Craftsman; my first tool set i bought ca 1976 while still living back east. Fast forward to 1981 -82 when starting to work on cars for a living; i started getting Snap-On tools; back when their product line had no real competition, they were THAT good, at least if discussing especially smaller chrome items.

Craftsman had some high quality tools, not all but many. Snap-on is the top dog in the USA but man it sure hurts to pay their prices. I do have some of their tools, I have many different brands. Thank you for watching!

Just an FYI that V is not a series but an MFG code. That V is Moore Drop forge who became Easco.

I understand, I guess that is how I refer to the codes. Maybe I need to change up what I say. Thanks for watching!

@@thetoolbandit It's only really an issue because Stanley currently has that " V series " BS trying to capitalize on the legacy of Craftsmans best era.

Dude those NOS sealed socket boxed sets are just beautiful. So well preserved. Such a time capsule. Are you a reseller? I’d be interested to see a price on any one of those sets, also I need a couple sizes of metric 3/8” swivel sockets to finish my set. I’m missing a 14 and 18

Where do you buy these from?
@thetoolbandit10 ай бұрын
This was an estate auction. The guy worked at Sears in the 70's and 80's and apparently decided to hoard a bunch of tools and never use them. He had a lot more but this is what I was able to buy. Thanks for watching!

I don't try to promote it here but my store is www.ebay.com/str/minute2late I have a few sets listed, they are not cheap. I priced them high because they are hard to find. I have sold 9 sets so far, but have some listed. Thanks for watching!

So you're not a reseller? What kind of maniac would just keep all this stuff???? (ummm,....probably me....)
@thetoolbandit10 ай бұрын
I sell stuff. I keep what I want or need, and try to get my money from the rest. I collect some, use some, building a set for my kid, and sell the rest. I buy way more than I can sell! Thank you for watching!
