In stores were the best... This must’ve been Fall of 99, right before Through Being Cool was released, considering the set up for My Sweet Fracture at the end. “What's a bond if it dissolves in water? I took a piss that lasted longer than you and your manipulations Called my mom last night She said, "Sweetie, you don't need someone Who's more fleeting than fall"” ... wow, these lyrics hit different in light of the recent news

When the camera pans to the audience, you see me standing in the front row, my omnipresent 35mm camera, glasses and backwards cap(uuugghh...). This was a lot of fun and it was great seeing Saves The Day W/ N.F.G. (before they sold out) later that night. Definitely one of the most memorable shows I've seen.

Amazing story, so lucky to have seen them at this time. I saw them in 2001

This was at CD Exchange (maybe Xchange) on North Monroe Street. It used to be connected with a guitar store called Music Exchange. Great show! I miss those guys.

I'm so glad you got the video of this show Ian! I have such fond memories of this show and the tour! Funniest and most awkward moment was when I showed Chris and the rest of Saves the Day band the "A New Kind of American Saint" parody album mocking their Through Being Cool cd. They didn't really think it was funny. : )

Oh wow! Christian, I remember that parody. I remember laughing so hard. I wish I had my copy still.

Chris Conley is the greatest and STD is my best memories from growing up. I’ve seen them like 7-8 times total in my life.

It seems odd to even attempt to til this? You wonder why everyone couldn’t have latched onto that EP instead of pointless repeated listens of Rumors and similar pop-rock crap or going for the myriad of followers (Dashboard to Fall Out Boy to Yellowcard and all in between).
