Thanks Les! I’m glad you think so! These days I’m trying a new approach where I try to use less clips and make less cuts when editing so the videos don’t take so long to edit. That way I can hopefully make more of them because I am way behind on requests atm! I’m filming another one right now actually! Could be the third one this week if I can finish it tomorrow!! 🙏 🙌

I’m glad you think so LA Toth! It sounded close enough to me but you are probably right about the tuning! That would explain why I was struggling so hard to play it exactly right in standard because it’s just not possible like that! If you or someone else can find or think of a better way to play it by all means comment it here and I will link to it in the description of this video so people that come after us can find it! I would say you are likely spot-on about the tuning though!

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me, seriously, since my attitude the whole time has been, “Something is better than nothing!” If someone more talented or musically trained comes around and corrects me or improves on something I said then we all benefit together from that but that can never happen if we don’t have a starting point to begin with! I say that for this lesson especially because at the very least it’s very reassuring for older songs that may have a live performance uploaded where you can visually see the chord shapes and finger positioning but it’s much harder for new songs like this one where you only have your ear to go off of!

That's cool! I just went to my second IDLES concert a few weeks ago and they were amazing!! New Ocean Alley song is great!!! I was thinking about that too!
