ok is it just me but i’m listening to the song while learning this and why does a Gb7#11 sound better then the fmaj7 after the g7#11? like i can hear the fmaj7 in the recording a little bit but the melody over the chords makes the f#7#11 just sound wayyyyy more pleasing to the ear even when playing it with no background music it sounds better to me

These are always really hard to teach! I think strumming is very much based on feel so I would recommend trying a few different strumming patterns until you find one that feels and sounds right!! Hope this helps!!! 🙏 🙌
