As someone who recently went to Disney with my girlfriends family in November Savi’s is well worth it for a fan, it could have been the actor I got but she seemed like an actual fan opposed to someone just getting paid, she even walked over to me when I was done and complimented my choice in parts noting I chose the ones that referenced anakin and Obi-wan specifically which was really cool

I think working as an actor in savis workshop would be epic. Like yeah it probably gets stupid hot all the time but if you’re an actor for savis and you’re just phoning it in then you need to leave cause plenty of fans would do that job in a heartbeat

As many as said, it's not just the light saber, it's the experience. It's a whole show, which you are a participant of. You choose every aspect of its build and built it yourself. The parts are of great quality, lots of metal, very little plastic, giving the feel of a realistic weapon. It's honestly a great deal.

Look up neopixel sabers, you won't regret it. I have six now. Even Anakin's saber. All combat ready and you can pick virtually any color you want.

When I went on a family trip to Disney, this was basically the only thing I was looking forward to. I didn't care about anything else. That being said, is it overpriced? Yes. But is it cool as hell? Yes. The experience is amazing. The main guy, at least in my experience, really committed to his role so there was a ton of immersion. And the part at the end where everyone ignites their sabers at once is really cool. Plus, you can buy other Kyber Crystals to change the color of the blade at Dok Ondar's, which I believe you can't do with the legacy lightabers that you can also get there for $100 less (they are replicas of the ones from the movies). So if you want to be able to say you built a lightsaber (they give you the parts, you just kind of snap them and screw them together) Savi's is worth it. If you just want to have a lightsaber, get a legacy one. Worth noting though, that if you want to build one, you need a reservation, and at least when I went, it was pretty difficult to get. We had to check the page like every 20 min, hour, etc. And if you do book one, it might be an early spot. I had to get up a 4am to stand outside before the parks open (to beat the lines) so that I'd be able to get there on time. Also worth noting, your not allowed to use the sabers in the park. They give you a carrying case at the end of the building and you gotta keep it in there while you walk around. Also, thought I'd mention, the saber part can be detached, so you can display it more easily (they also sell a stand at Dok Ondar's). Hope this has helped someone, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk

The lightsaber itself is probably not something I would buy off the shelf at that price, but the entire package with the show and the process of building it was absolutely worth it, unless you're just not into Star Wars. My wife bought me a trip to Savi's for my birthday last year and we both enjoyed it so much that we went back and got one for her birthday this year.

I was just in Disney Orlando the past several days, and we hit Hollywood Studios day 1, and one of my best friends and I got our reservations for the saber. It was something that I had been wanting for years, and when it came time, I thought I was going to cry. Just the pure emotion I was feeling was unmatched on the whole trip. The final design is absolutely amazing looking in my eyes. I went with the new Elemental Nature and the purple Kyber crystal, and I am in love. I would have loved to have gotten a black one, bc apparently like 3 or 4 people found ones that day

I went this past month recently. It was a very fun experience not to mention the fact that the lightsaber feels very good in the hands. These are the only lightsabers that are canon imo, the lightsaber you make will look and feel similar to the replicas. Let’s not forget that these sabers are the most inexpensive.

The main reason the lightsaber is expensive compared to other ones is due to the experience. It's not just the lightsaber, although it's based around it. The full experience in Savi's is the reason it's so expensive. You get to create your own lightsaber, pick your own color, feel like you're truly in starwars. Feel "The Force" within you. That's why it's so expensive.

You can get a way better, or similar in quality one from Ultrasaber, Neopixel or an RBG for around half the price. Plus you can get custom Sound Fonts, all colours and there are waaaay more customisation options to pick from. Is it worth it? For the experience, yes, but for the actual saber, no, probably not. (I'm also not saying that Savi's Sabers are bad, just that there are better alternatives for cheaper. Also they save the trip to Disneyland, which is already expensive)

This is just a personal thing but I would much rather spend around $180 for a legacy saber and hilt because I think there are some really cool character sabers and I don’t really like the way the custom ones look, I get it’s customizable but I’m not crazy about it. I thinks it’s more worth it to buy a legacy one since it’s cheap and looks cooler imo

Have you not seen the price tags for ultrasaber, saber forge or, some of the lesser known out there yes these are cheaper yes you get to build your own piece by piece and you get to experience all this in a sweet setting vs clicking around online i personally own a saber staff with a $1400 price tag love it i want more sabers and would love to get some of these for sure

I liked the experience of building the galaxy edge Saber. However, I think aftermarket sabers are better in a lot of ways. Fits in the hand better, brighter light, different lighting styles like stable or unstable, and recharge batteries are a few reasons to get a aftermarket Saber

I would say for the price, yeah. It’s 219 for a lightsaber can change color and also has a kyber crystal inside. If you want a good custom hilt with a kyber crystal chamber, they easily for for double or more than the ones at galaxy edge. So definitely great value. But If you have a lot of money and want the best lightsaber on the market, there’s definitely at better options like neopixels.

Having made the peace and justice blade, I can confirm that the build quality is very good and doesn’t feel like it would fall apart. The light tube is fragile but the hilt is rock solid

I think the blade itself could really have better quality. You can easily get better and cheaper lightsabers online. If you want to use them for display or cosplay. But i also think that the USP for the savi ones is the experience you get with it.

yeah I have my own but I’m constantly disassembling it for no other reason than I want to it keeps screwing up the Lightsaber I have noticed that the light saber changes colors as well even on non-disassembled ones it’s weird like it flashes yellow, purple, green

I haven't bought one myself (yet) but the Saberforge sabers are stunning, and way cheaper. I got an Ultrasaber, using a cheap model so it's very simplistic, but it has better quality than the Disney sabers. The Disney sabers do require you to buy the tickets to enter the park, and THEN you pay $218. They are also very bulky. The experience of making it looks really fun, but I wouldn't go for it over a Saberforge.

But do you get the experience that comes with Savi's Workshop? If it were just the saber, I wouldn't say it's quite worth the money, but the experience of building a saber in the workshop was seriously one of my favorite things.

It's kinda sad there are no dark side versions of the process, sure you can make a red blade but what if you wanted a dark side hilt?

I’d say for the most part it’s not a big deal. If you had a lightsaber before turning to the dark side then chances are your own crystal would bleed turning the blade red. So your hilt would be the same regardless of which side of the force you’re on

Tough for me to justify the price given the quality of sabers from online 3rd party retailers. Not to mention you need to buy a ticket to the park to get to the workshop, pay for parking, etc so it’s not $219 it’s more like $500. Veeerrrry hard to justify
