I'm surprised people are negative about Kohli's knock today. With him and Axar at centre, there was some stability and one of them was taking risk. I don't see Jadeja being able to bat that well, esp given the run he's had. And while Hardik and Dube did well enough, it would have been a different situation had Kohli got out around 10-13 over mark.

He is absolutely right ...Kohli scored 14 runs only from 19 balls between 10 to 17 overs with 7 wickets in hand and also Pandya being in good form....Kohli did not play a shot in air in this format in this time.....he scored 50 runs between 48 balls on a flat track.....his 2nd part of the innings was the reason why India only got to 170 instead of 190 ...1st part was great from him but 2nd part was a disappointment to the extent that just like t20 semi final of 2022 Kohli would have been the reason of Indias loss this time too but luckily our fantastic bowlers saved us🤘

@@gauravagrawal3555 Andh Bhakti, is not the problem in politics. It is becoming a disease in sports too. What is the question raised in my comment? Did Kohali score way less than run a ball from 10th to 17th over or not? Was India in trouble at that point of time or we have come out of 3 wicket loss bcz of partnership between Kohli and Axar? Kohali played well till 10th over. We needed some rebuilding that point of time. But after that, he actually harmed India and India got 20 runs less bcz of Kohali.

@@Debajyoti_P Tumlog gajab hai. Kyonki 20th over me maarne jaata hai sab. To out hoga hi. Kohali bhi maarne jaane par hi out hua na 19th over me. He played 50% of balls and scored 43% of team runs. What was he doing from 10th 17th over? He was playing way less than run a ball. India was recovered during that time. And by the way, he was getting out a the tournament. India won all matches. So India is not dependent on him to score. But India could have lost this match bcz he played too slow. Indian fast bowlers along with Hardik won the match for India.

Kohli got out on 19.5 ball and in last 7 balls we lost the wickets of jadeja and dube so if kohli had lost his wicket in 11th over to step up the run rate india could have stumbled around 150

India scored 20 runs less bcz if Kohali ridiculously slow batting. Scoring run a ball till 10-12 over after losing few wickets can be understandable. But batting like that till 17th over is unforgivable.

Kohali played well till 10th or 12th over, bcz India lost early wickets. But he continued playing less than run a ball till the 17th over. India didn't need that at that point of time and hence his inning was bad after 10th or 12th over till 17th. It is so simple to understand. It is not about Rohit, Kohali or Bumrah. Sehwag's point is somewhat right. After 3 early dismissals, its fine to anchor the innings but after some point say after 10-11 overs you have to accelerate knowing there are batters in line. See Hardik Pandya best hitter in indian team didnt get much deliveries to bat if he had come early in pace of dube maybe score would have been around 200 the way he hits the ball even on tough slow pitches. Its fine margins sometimes. If you win, people will say you are genius if you end up on losing side people will say u consumed lot of deliveries. Glad we won today.
