As mentioned before, this Bike has brought back a lot of fun memories. The Bike I owned was two years older, but it too was Heavy in the front end. And Suspension was nothing like what we have today. And Handling, I think had yet to be Invented. In those days, it was thought to be Good Enough if the Bike just turned. Never mind if the Bike would Kill you if you attempted to go through a corner at Speed. Back then, there wasn't a lot of Driving on the side of the tires. If you did, you would probably end up in the Ditch, and Dead. I am trying to recall what the Top Speed of my Bike was. . . probably 85 mph, maybe 95ish if the Wind was behind me. Was barely 16 years old, and weighed in at a Scrawny 155 lbs. The only Bike from that era that had any Handling was the Yamaha RD-350. A Great bike. Quick, and one of the best rides to own. They were a Two cycle engine. A Handsome Bike. But, I Loved my Honda CB 350. My first Road bike.

I find it entertaining and educational how you figure out each problem. Electrical seems like a nightmare but you diagnosed it whereas I would have given up. I suppose each issue had a finite number of possibilities and that's how you can find the answer to each. Proper tools are necessary. Nicely done. This was a good one.

Well, that certainly brought back some memories. Thanks! I had same color scheme on my 1968 Honda CB350 I bought while in high school in junior year in 1972. The first and last rear tire I have had go flat at 70 mph. Those tubed tires really let loose when they would suddenly lose air. To keep it upright and gradually slow down, I had to follow where ever the bike decided to go. Thankfully there was no traffic close to me on the Interstate highway so I could keep it upright. First I have seen your channel. Awesome!

I owned a '69 CL 350 for 6 years. It will do 90 mph. Because of the condition of the motor oil you drained, you might want to consider cleaning out the centrugal oil filter on the right side engine case--small round plate removal will permit access. Thanks for the video.

Mid 50's early 60's the great revolution of motorcycles was in Angola when the CB 50 to 175 to 200 to 350 appeared and the top to 750 four the Japanese destroyed the competition. Well, as we can see, they already had a starter motor, blinkers, 12v battery, suspensions of the best, it was the beginning of a very long walk. I watched all this...thanks for the video

Agreed. The CB 125 and 200 had front cable disks for only two years around 1975 and went back to drums. Cable disks are not as good as drum shoes. Hydraulic disks are better than both. The 2008 Honda CB250 still had twin mechanical drums in North America. They had a hydraulic front disk in Aus, UK and EU. DON'T KNOW WHY. The Rebel got a front disk.

The stats say that the bike will go a little over 100. I had a 1972 model and I got it up to 95 and the front wheel started floating so I shut it down. But then I was young then and indestructible, if you know what I mean. I road it all over Oklahoma at 65 miles and hour, but I felt like with the RPM's the way they were that it was most comfortable for me at 60, so that is usually what I rode it at. Great bike and a great video. Thanks.

Its a tidy bike , zorsts still do not look right ! Hope you keep and finish sorting .

That looked familiar; the first 350 Honda I revived also had a drain bolt that was incredibly tight; scared me! I was sure that the threads were stripped or soon would be - took an incredible amount of force to break it loose. I think it is due to the huge amount of surface area on the plug.

Back in the late 70's I had a CB250, after a year riding it I felt the need for more power so I bought a big bore kit that took it out to 370 cc, I also ported the head and installed a race cam, then a pair of noisy straight through silencers, the thing really flew and pulled hard past 12k rpm, but too much use of those high revs eventually killed it, sure was fun while it lasted though..
