‘철새이동경로 보호하기’ 영상은 한때 멸종될 것으로 우려되었던 동아시아-대양주 철새이동경로 (East Asian-Australasian Flyway) 상의 수백만 마리의 철새들의 이야기가 학계, 시민단체, 지역사회, 그리고 정부의 협력과 더불어 황해의 해안습지의 가치에 대한 깊은 이해를 통해, 희망의 이야기로 바뀌게 된 과정을 여러 전문가들의 인터뷰와 관련 영상들로 보여줍니다.
이 영상은 EAAFP의 파트너인 Paulson Institute(www.paulsoninstitute.org/) 와 The Cornell Lab of Ornithology (www.birds.cornell.edu/home/) 가 제작했고, 2021년 5월 21일 생물다양성의 날에 공개되었습니다.

Through interviews and incredible footage, Saving a Flyway shows how an enlightened understanding of the value of coastal wetlands in the Yellow Sea-combined with collaboration among academics, NGOs, local communities, and governments-has turned what scientists feared would be an “epicenter of extinction” into a story of hope for millions of migratory shorebirds along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway.
This is a production lead by EAAFP Partner Paulson Institute (www.paulsoninstitute.org/) and The Cornell Lab of Ornithology (www.birds.cornell.edu/home/). The video was launched on 21st May, 2021 in line with the International Day for Biological Diversity.
