To be fair, there are a lot of generators that only need the electric charge at first to get running before they can operate on their own using the fuel. Its not like they had the leisure to check what type of generator it was

Hondo's shooting would be justified, even with Street's warning how could he have been sure and let Hondo know before he shot, he looked as if he had a handgun too, with no clear hands visible, making sudden movement as if you are gonna shoot is considered justifiable if police shoot you.

In real life if he died from a gunshot they would've just put his rifle back in his hands so he wasn't "unarmed".

Street should have yelled that the suspect was unarmed right away. Also, bodycam footage will prove Hondo's innocence.

Where do you go to become a swat officer

Quite a few police departments have their own teams, although they may be called something different - the one for the New York Police Department, for example, is called the Emergency Services Unit. There are also different exact standards for joining depending on the department, although they do follow a common theme. For the LAPD SWAT, for example, you need at least five years experience as a normal LAPD officer before you can apply, and even then, you need a fairly decent service record to be even considered. A college degree of some kind is also a plus point for applying. Following that, there's a 12-week training course you have to apply for, each class of which has limited spots. The training is very physically demanding and intense, and highly competitive - not all students graduate to become full members of D Platoon, which has less than a hundred members.

In fact, if you're serious about becoming a SWAT officer, you may want to consider a tour in the millitary first, as an infantryman in the Army or Marines. It'll give you some skills that will look good on your application form, and getting up to the physical standards needed won't be so much of a stretch. Hondo's character, for example, is former Marine Sergeant, and served in Somalia.

all SWAT officers have at least a year training in monestaries in Tibet. This helps them hine their martial arts skills and physical capabilities for when they return to the US
