Saving an FD RX-7 from 12 years in a garage!

It’s a crisp, late summer night in Utah. Beverages are flowing. Things are getting grilled. Anyone who’s into cars, is doing the things that people who are into cars do: they stand by the garage looking at cars that aren’t moving. And so began this strange tale of Ron convincing his Utah friend that a time capsule FD RX-7 deserves so much more than a life of musty garage smells.

I feel the tall boy pain, I just fit in my fb and I'm scotto's height. I switched to a miata steering wheel and thats still too big, I gotta buy me a steering wheel. I'm looking at the grip royal confeti etch w/ teggu paint inlay and patina with the gt spokes. It should fit with a spacer and a nrg quick release.

After talking to an old restoration guy and seeing his alfa Romeo spider with the deepest mirror smooth black that I've ever seen and finding out that it was single stage, I'm sold on using single stage for solid colors. Oh and it had been painted for over a decade and got driven daily when the weather was nice

Out of my three builds my car with single stage pops the most. It might not be as deep in direct sunlight as metallics but it's hard to beat how eye catching it is in most lighting

I have a stock white 94 FD sitting in my garage for four years, i've owned it for nearly 20 years, 59k miles, excellent shape. Nothing wrong with it (dead battery) just trying to keep it from being modified. has the same factory front splitter and rear spoiler.
