It's not "simply" because it's hungry. These destructive creatures need to stay away from the crops. Don't fall for sending money to these folks. The government already builds crops. This country has a lot of human children orphans due to Civil War , Drought, etc. Many children won't make it past the age of 10 because they lack the basic neccities like clean water, food, shelter, and simple vaccines. Your money would be so much better invested into children . Children who are capable of gratitude,and capable of creating solutions to the problems of the region. Don't waste your hard earned money.

Elephants migrate for searching food and water, not because they like to risk their lives roaming around or crossing the rivers full of crocodiles. Human has already been given the ruling power to be the government of animals. In other words, human has the obligation to take care of the well being of animals. The infrastructure in every forest around the world should be well planned to improve the survivability of animals, by building more water troughs and irrigation systems with water being drawn from deep underground, to provide water and plants for animals even during the dry season, so animals do not need to migrate or enter human habitats for food. It is the obligation of every government in the world to take care of animals. If human continue to abuse this ruling power over animals, by torturing and killing them, and by not building proper infrastructures in animal habitats to provide them the year round water and plants, this ruling power over animals would sooner or later be revoked, by God.

What did the Little Blue Society do to protect Mambo and help him when he was desperately seeking his mother and sister? It is the same old story; elephants being killed by villagers because they were looking for food, or being poached for their tusks. There never seems to be a solution! Don't get me wrong. I commend you for trying to help and I will, if I can, but I need to know if your Society is genuine. Thank you!

Personally I feel the farmers should be fined heavily for their actions against these majestic animals!!! And shame on their government for keeping the farmers poor like they do!!!!
