Russell, you always? seem to amaze me LMAO. It will work for sure and make the lady very happy. My thought is screen in the whole porch with a screen door at one end. Then you are completely free of bugs, oh yes do not forget the bottom. Wishing you and City Girl a very blessed week.

You know what, Russell. Your patio may not be perfect. But the Russell trophy is for caring and wanting to protect your City Girl. What better trophy for a loving man you wanna get? Thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻😍

I agree cording the road works in Maine. Plenty of blow overs from those storms for free, natural materials Cut some to fit lengthwise into the pit, then go horizontal layers till reaching the top. Erosion and the banks will hold it in place. Should take a decade to rot like hugelkultur beds. All natural if on shared easement. Add layers over the years. Bumpy if not uniform top logs, but you should be able to motocross safely with City Girl not getting soaked/muddy. Early bugs, long season this year.

Haaa! There is some cute raccoon wearing your hat, making a fashion statement out there in the woods or maybe a beaver just to p---s you off :) My husband does not like the wide brimmed netted hats. I now buy him just the nets only and he puts it over his ball cap. Much cheaper option. He likes it because the net does not fall on his face when the wind blows it. Chicken looked absolutely delicious. You have inspired me to get the barbecue charged up to have an outdoor cooking fest. I would plant a couple more strawberry plants in the bare areas. They do shoot off trailers but you can clip them and replant them somewhere else. My husband uses Vicks Vapor Rub as his repellent. Everything stays clear from him, and on the bright side he has a clear nasal passage and everyone that comes near him :). He said it is the best thing he has ever used and it lasts for a long time and as a bonus, it does not irritate his skin. Time to build a bridge where you put the pallet Russell and install some ABS pipe to drain off the water. Bumble bee could fill in the culvert with dirt for you. Love the humming birds. I just filled our feeders thinking the little birds will be so tired from flying from Mexico and will need a boost of energy. I would anchor the screen with boards. Good Job and Happy Gardening. All The Best Steel Buns!

Hey Russell and City girl you two are so cute. You could corderoy the bad areas of the trail in with blow down logs / branches especially the water hole where the pallet is , we had to do the same in Westree Ontario to one of the trails coming in to camp, we placed them lengthwise ,and width, also filled it in with some other natural debris. it worked well give it a try. Sure is pretty around the cabin regardless of trail issues and yup the bugs. Nice of you to think of city girl , Maybe you can use velcro strip down the front of the somewhat open spot, or eventually have the whole porch screened in . good work Russel city girl will be happy.

When using pallets in mud holes as it rots and falls apart you may get a piece with a nail in it that may point upwards...
@januszlewicki57837 ай бұрын
But you can nail a transverse one there, and secure the board on one side so that the birds can build a nest there without fear of falling.

Is that a swallows nest? They eat a lot of mosquitoes as do bats. Purple martins eat a lot of mosquitoes also. That Bbq chicken looks yummy. Good to see City Girl. It's easy to make bat houses also.....as the local bats here took up residence behind the basket ball hoop that is on the shop wall when my son's quit playing a few yrs. ago. Lol

Russell needs a GO FUND ME to fix his trail. Or, get a lumber mill and create 6x6 planks 12 feet long and build a bridge. That would be my #1 project for the best weather time of the year AND invite subscribers to help with the build. Party time. Imagine just 6 or 8 helpers with tools and an architectural drawing.. How could the land owner object to an improvement? Solve the problem.

Hello. You should not climb into the bird's nest with your hands, because he is ready to leave these eggs and this nest. They built a nest there, you didn't see how they built it, now be polite and let them sit the chicks and fly away from the nest on their own.

Yeah, I like one of the commenters here that suggested you use a mechanical pump to drain a water collection like that. Charge up a battery and let it pump away! The other thing is a simple hose siphon, no machinery needed. Of course the outlet end of the hose must be lower than the intake. You may need a LONG hose. Or! Use your steam shovel or post digger and dig a drainage hole dry well 100 feet away downhill somewhere! Buy two screw caps for the hose as it must be filled with water to siphon. Unless ... unless... you are good at ... sucking. (Video title: "I suck!")
@raycaster43987 ай бұрын
Though thinking about it now ... Any dry well you attempt would just fill with water because your water table is so damn high, near lowlands, near beaver ponds. Oh. Maybe just the pump with hose outlet down and out. Turn on the battery-powered pump the day before a trip out to the truck.
