This is Medal Of Honor Frontline. This game originally came out in 2002 and follows the story of Jimmy Patterson as he fights through German occupied Europe. It is one of the best and most nostalgic games. On this part Jimmy travels to the Netherlands during Operation Market Garden.

i say Arnhem Knights is one of the best missions in this game, it captures the horrors of war and the state of market garden it self pretty perfectly, since i am dutch my self and dont live to far for away from arnhem it self, also the music it plays on this mission is one of the best in the game, the singing in the music you hear is dutch as well, (arnhem houd u sterk) translate to arnhem stay strong, to bad the music stops playing randomly due to a anoying bug the this remaster version of this game

My grandparents also grew up during the occupation, but even though they weren’t part off the resistance their families did secretly listen to the British radio and they also had a friend who gave them illegal newspapers (like, Parool, and Vrij Nederland) that not only told that the Nazi’s were losing, but also what was really happening to the jewish people. I’d also like to tell that many Dutch civilians weren’t scared to insult or assault NSB’ers in public. Those were Dutch people that worked with the Nazi’s. Even my grandfather became rude to them even though you indeed took a great risk by doing that.

I always tried my hardest to save as many of the British paratroopers as possible, especially Sgt Kelso (the guy with the Red Beret). It was always so hard to do so. One thing Pro, is that the red Beret was worn by British airborne troops, hence the nickname "Red devils". Commandoes wore green berets.

I remember playing the game on the OG xbox and going on a full blown rampage when the old man got shot, running zig zags to try and keep the sniper off me and ensuring not a single soldier anywhere in the town had a open casket funeral via a very liberal use of grenades and ammo.

Arnhem Knights easily has the most haunting soundtrack in the entire game , especially when you understand the mournful lyrics of the song. This video wonderfully illustrates that kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHXCg6SrhNBoga8 It truly conveys the unmatched valor of the British paratroops who fought so desperately against overwhelming odds, but ultimately could not prevail in the battle of Arnhem.

Always good to see my home, Arnhem, portrayed in the war time. The game didn't do a bad job, especially how they added civilians in this mission. Unfortunately nowadays many (younger) people that live here either forget or don't care that a massive battle took place here, perhaps maybe because the event gets overshadowed a lot by other things nowadays

The zf41 scope was arguably the worst scope ever fielded in mass production. the design was generally rejected by sniper schools and disliked by snipers, because the 1.5x magnifying scope was deemed insufficient for shooting effectively at point targets over long distances. Problems were the scope's extreme eye relief, poor functioning in bad light and low magnifying power. I recommend watching forgotten weapons about how bad it is for a sniper scope.

The commando order didnt affect the paras. Commandos yes but paras no. Im not saying reprisals didnt happen but most of the captured paras did get home. Now if Patterson was real and was captured being OSS he wouldnt have been so lucky. But the germans had to be careful otherwise they put their own prisoner at risk. They could "argue" that commandos did spy and sabotage work but not paras.

The game is good it has a good story spacially i like when you talk about history, but we need to understand that Soviet union suppose to be main target not Germans, communist regime is worse than Nazi so after Nazis defeated problem Number 2 came which was worst (Soviet union) well known for killing many innocent people and deadly assassinations Speaking of evil, its always the Soviet union But the bad thing about this game is that graphics are worse than gta san Andreas............ It looks bad a little bit
