Saving Fish Abandoned in DRIED UP CREEK!

In today's video, I find a dried up creek FILLED with fish that needed to be saved! There were gar, snakehead, clown knife fish, and MASSIVE snapping turtles that were living in the mud. We rescued as many as we could and transported them to my backyard pond where they can live the rest of their lives!

Insane how fast the environment change over there. From floods to dried out to cold weather!

There are 10 climatic zones, 10 being tropical. South Florida is zone 10 and most of the rest of the state 9. Basically, the dry season starts in March. That ditch is typical of a drainage ditch. The land is flat, sand over limestone. This ditch will dry out periodically because the water level changes so much due to the sand and limestone. In really dry years, sink holes open up and can swallow cars and houses.

That was a giant, soft shell turtle
