I killed them right after they crossed the gate, looted some legendary pistol. And during the dialogue with Karl, I realized that it was possible to talk to them, loaded the last save, talked, heard disrespect in the tone of their conversation, killed them again.

Ah, when I heard the new gig with Rogue was called "nasty hangover" I thought it would literally be V picking up some hung over gonk for her. "Go find him for me, V.
