When dealing with large carp here in the UK we use padded cradles and retaining slings id seriously consider trying to get your self some retainers that zip up it's alot safer for the fish and easier on you guys for carrying them .

The way I feel right now is heartbreaking. I can't imagine how you felt losing everything. My fish caught ick, then we had a storm, and my power surge protector died. Lost almost all my fish. Went from 30 done to 3.

Do You watch these japanese Koi chanels , like Konishi and Koi Partner ? They have such great videos about breeding , keeping , harvesting and showing Koi . So beautiful fishes , but definitely very heavy . The huge ones are carried by two people in Japan . 😉

What a great video. I loved seeing those beautiful koi. That huge pond sitting on a covered deck would be my idea of bliss. You would need a warm spoon to prise me off it summer or winter, I would live out there with my fish friends. I would be so happy. Awesome job. Carp species often bleed when they are stressed. Big common carp caught fishing bleed even when only hooked in the lip. Very cool fish.

Last two - excellent vids ...but don't forget the bread and butter (the other guy did). Keep it simple. A planted 40 gallon breeder with platys would be amazing. And the 300gallon predator.... Amazing!!! Space it out. Keep it real. Stay excellent. You're work ethic is definitely appreciated
