If you are mentioning this due to Odette’s passing, I do not believe it applies here. She was a special needs duck with neurological and central nervous system problems. Every day we got with her since bringing her home were bonus days for us. She had frequent vet checkups and all seemed normal, despite her known issues. Thanks for mentioning tho. And you’re right. This applies to all animals pretty much tho, not just birds😞 so it’s important to know all of our pets normal behaviors and routines, and if anything ever seems slightly off, don’t ignore it.

Thank you for sharing about lizards not actually dying when they are in that cold state. I’ve been seeing lots of videos like the ones you showed and it’s sad to see these animals being so defenseless while they get harmed. Also if you want a stronger passwords I’d choose two words you can remember that are not obviously connected to you and then add an ( ! ) exclamation at the end to make it more hacker proof

I would honestly like to hear more about odette. I know it’s very hard and I have recently lost a pet too but I wish you could share it and we can learn more about it and hopefully can prevent it from happening the next time. Love you steff. It really sucks to lose a pet.

Here in the UK where I live we rarely get snow so when the snow storm hit we had snow for a week I was PUMPED cause back where I lived in Poland it went cold cold as in lakes freezing and I miss it so every time it snows it reminds me of Poland.

It was the first of your videos that I watched too. I’d recently lost 5 of my ducklings and 2 that recovered ended up with splay leg. Our vets here don’t know too much about ducks do it was hit and miss. Donald is mobile and can move quite fast now, not as fast as his able bodied buddies but quickly enough. Daisy has not recovered. She is still unable to walk which I can see is frustrating her but I do not know what to do any longer to help other than lots of love and making sure she’s fed and gets swims and attention. She spends most of the day outside with the other ducks but she and Donald sleep inside next to my bed. Anyone have any ideas? I saw your post where you made the duck diapers but it was a hopeless mess. I’m not creative😂. So I have lots of washing every morning but they are definitely worth it. I am so sorry to hear about Odette. How is Babette coping without her feathered friend? I worry about how Daisy will do if Donald can eventually join the others. And I worry about how Donald will do if we lose Daisy. I feel so helpless when I look at how limited her movement is and she’s so thin too. I don’t know whether I need to add stuff to her diet other than the duck food. Can you advise me please??

We are in Texas and i have family in Corpus Christi....this weather for the last 7 or so days has been brutal..no power..pipes busting and flooding everywhere..fires happening but frozen hydrants...my boa constrictors made it...but did develop respiratory infections...now on antibiotics so we are all recovering! Other people were not so lucky and lost many animals.

Sorry to hear about odette! Losing a pet is difficult, just know you don’t have to make a video about it if it’s too hard to talk about! I lost my dog over a year ago and it’s still hard talking about him to this day. It’s understandable not being able to talk about it. 💗

I’m in Florida and it was on the news telling people about the iguanas and what to if you came across them, most news outlets said to leave them be or move them to cover or call wild life rescue. It didn’t stay cold for too long in my area. So I didn’t hear too much about it.

We had a pet pyranees and rottweiler mix who was who was raised with a goose. She absolutely loves the goose. When people would come up the goose would follow the dog. In the middle of last year we moved, unfortunately she was hit by a car and passed. Our goose was devastated, we never expected a goose to bond so closely to a dog.
