She was one of the last characters we got in our footage. I spent hours recording the game and Isabelle was one of our last unlocks. I wanted to got footage and post it as we played and i was looking for her the whole time.

You really should have looked up a concise guide on which characters unlock which OTHER characters. Each character unlocks a specific character in Classic Mode, so you gotta go in and follow the chain of unlocking.

I also grinded Samus' classic mode before finding out Isabelle isn't even included in the tree, but my friend who also got the game on release grinded Samus' classic mode looking for Isabelle just like me for roughly 3 hours.
