Hi, thanks for the tutorial. I would like to understand why when I save my preset on the FM3, the name of my preset does not appear on the FM3 editor of my computer. It still says "empty" but not on the FM3 screen. Is there anything else I can do to completely save all the preset information? Is there a special way to save a preset other than STORE and ENTER twice. Thanks

Hmmm It should be updating in FM3 Edit as well. Maybe reach out to Fractal and let me know what issue you are having. Store Enter Enter is the only method I use to save a preset on the Fractal.

Hope all is well Doc, it's Trick from the Headrushworld. After over 5 years with Headrush I moved to the Fractalverse in April. How do you think the tone and feel is under your fingers? I literally just plugged in my Headrush Pedalboard back in last night to hear the difference and WOW, Fractal really is amazing. I have the FM9 and loving it. So after about 4 months and 3 live shows under the belt, I feel like I'm back to a good place Scenes and Presets wise with Fractal. Plenty more to learn but it is wonderful. \m/_

In the past year I have bought and tried all the major modelers. Helix, QC, Kemper, Fractal AX8, FM9, AXIII and now the FM3. They are all good and have a slightly different workflow. Fractal does sound nice but there are some limitations I can't get past. Headrush is still a good value for money in the sub $1000 category. If I played in a band professionally I would probably gig with the Kemper as I like the size and features. I will do a proper video detailing my pros and cons of each unit. At the end of the day no one is winning a grammy for best tone. Just whatever gets you excited and creating more music is the one you should do with.
