Very helpful series! I hope you continue with more helpful "how to's" like this series!

Hey Thomas, thanks so much! Glad you liked the series. My plan for this channel is to have many tutorial series/short courses on a range of musical topics, so I’m glad to see there is a desire for that and there is plenty more still to come.

Good morning again, congrats for the series, really useful. There are a couple of things that could be arguments for other chapters and there aren't a lot of tutorials about in youtube or in internet: I mean XY pad, with controls and how manage the image inside in function of the cursor position, and the Creator Tool with the LUA script. Greetings, Sergio

Hey Sergio, thanks so much. This definitely isn’t the end of the Kontakt tutorials and, funny enough, XY pads are the next thing on my list to cover (probably across a couple of videos). So, definitely a great time to follow along for more Kontakt tips!

Hi Stephen, having a bit of an issue. When I moved the Kontakt instrument (saved as Patch + Sample) from one computer to another, it open within Kontakt seemingly fine despite it displaying in a seemingly collapsed version. Similar to the way it look when we imported our backgrounds and you could see them in the background but they went moved down yet to expose the whole thing. As a result the slider and knobs are no longer there either in the 'spanner open' or 'spanner closed' sections. All of the samples are still present, and the coding is entirely in tact. Is there a way to 'expand the performance view' that I'm missing? Thank you

Hey Jordan, sounds similar to an issue I've had before. For me, it all came down to the resources container. I would try and delete the old RC and create a brand new one. Keep all the images the same name, but call the RC something different. Once you have imported all the images, make sure you "recreate" the RC with the same name, overriding it and making sure you see the "Pictures" number increase to say those images have been packaged. The RC can easily get messed up in Kontakt, particularly on projects you are working on for a while, so give this a go and hopefully that is the solution. (I'd also try and store the RC in a different folder, like creating a folder called "graphics" or something and storing it in there, sometimes its the file path to it that can cause issues).
