Hub centric rings on the go, just take 4 70-90mm hose clamps and cut the bolt part to fit them around the hub. They are 0,75mm as it need for the e39 wheel to fit without vibrations till you get home.

I already had a '91 Brilliantrot e34 520i/24v purchased in 2006. Then I accompanied a friend to a breaker's yard around 2010 as he was needing a radiator cap for his e34 Brokatrot 525i. In the yard we came across an immaculate '95 Hellrot 520i/6 vanos e34 being scrapped because of a fist sized dent in the trunk lid, the rest of the car was pristine inside and out and the engine purred like silk, I thought to myself 'I've just gotta save this beauty'. Went home to get some cash and when I returned someone had already removed the rear screen, but I still purchased it anyways. I still have both the red e34s to this day. Later I saw another pristine e34 in metallic grey at another breaker's yard and I asked to purchase it, but the yard owner refused to sell it because it was subject to a court order that stipulated that the car must be crushed...ahhh what a tragic criminal waste!

Seems to have stuck fan clutch- tend to propel its way up and through bonnet if driven like that longer time. But man! , that's the 4seater/breadbin bakseat!!!

Easy enough to test, when engine is cold and running, you should be able to stop the fan with a rolled up newspaper. Sounded like it was running at engine speed though and not just freewheeling along.

Jeez, when I think of the 3.6's that were used as engine donors 20 odd years ago when they were just high mileage £3500 cars. If the shell is good then you're most of the way there. The 3.6 is such a tough engine and they all had the duplex timing chain. It sounds like the viscous fan coupling is seized. Whoever fitted those wheels should be prosecuted 😂 You going to find some proper Turbines for it? They are so rare now, everyone binned the centres and fitted throwing stars which are nowhere near as cool. Brilliant red 308 was replaced by Bright Red 314 (hell rot) end of '91 so it's the right colour. There's definitely a car in there - a couple of grand will see the important bits done. Has it still got rear self levelling shocks? No big deal if it has been converted.

Good call on the fan. Definitely seized. I agree the wheels are awful. It would be cool to fit turbines back on it but honestly hard to justify wheels that cost half the price of the car nearly… We will see. Yes SLS has been deleted, its on Bilsteins!
