"I want your Kevin. You don't care for him the way I do." One sure sign you've been wandering around Rapture alone for too long is anthropomorphizing the machines. I did it too my first time through. Definitely take more pictures to make killing enemies easier. Also, remember to look under stairs for goodies too! BTW - I know you're past it now so I'll tell you a secret I learned after several playthroughs: in the Farmer's Market by the machine gun turret is a piece of wood that slants down to the floor. If you go up it and follow it around in a U shape, after you jump the gap is a sliding door crawl space with several auto hack tools and proximity mine ammo for the grenade launcher. Hopefully you love this game enough to play it again... and to play the other 2 Bioshock games plus the Burial at Sea 1 & 2 dlcs! The entire series is fantastic - and yes, people say Bioshock 2 isn't as good, but as a story of a father/daughter bond in the face of all odds it shines, plus the fighting mechanics are a big improvement.

USE THAT CAMERA GIRL! You can photograph everyone more than once. You can take pictures of each enemy you find several times. not just types of enemies but multiple Houdini, little sister, bid daddy etc. Trust me it's worth it. Just keep your camera out. Also use telekinesis on the wire traps to your advantage by shooting them at enemies or at the wall for a better trap of your own. Also cyclone trap is awesome! Especially upgraded you can throw powers at them to make a fire, electric, freezing trap. Definitely my favorite❤️❤️❤️

Tips for replaying BS1. Some might be applicable for BS2. • Max your camera research for all enemies and securities. You will receive an achievement if you've maxed them. They give a lot of bonuses and unlockable tonics. • Telekinesis can remove those electric traps and you can even place them on a different direction. If you just need to remove them, just grab an object and use it to trigger the traps. You can use 1 object for all electric traps as long as they are not explosives. • Pistols are great for headshots. • To save more Eve. I would rather Freeze the turrets and cameras then hack them. Maxing the research for them means it is a free hack (no more minigame). • A full Electric gel chemical thrower can kill most of the Big Daddies. • Buyout hacks when they are $40 or less. Money is not hard to get especially since enemies respawn. • You can stun lock Big Daddies with electric bucks. Just make sure that you hit them close but not very close and only shoot once they are about to move again. The Rosie Big Daddy may need you get cover and reload first since they have faster stun recovery. Also, the 3 additional contents are fun to play. I hope you give it a try.

@thelaughingman89993 жыл бұрын
@@GriffinPilgrim Mostly because it improves upon everything from the original game. The graphics, gameplay, plasmids, etc. is superior to the original. It also has a deep story that resonates with me. I can understand why people might prefer the first game’s story but in my opinion the sequel does most everything else better. Concerning Infinite I like it but it is definitely a step back in many ways. Ridiculously linear, no actual choices, only two weapons can be equipped, no dual wielding, inferior plasmids compared to the first two. Half the story from Infinite is straight up lifted from the 2nd game which blatantly obvious. The only thing that the 3rd game has is a graphical improvement and a very weak twist but that’s just my personal opinion… 🤷🏻♂️

"I guess we don't have to worry about her turning on us!" Yep, that's bioshock; paranoia ending in a death that changes the plot. It's a shame you missed the Fontaine audio diary. You almost found it but then the bathysphere exploded, so you were understandably distracted. Fontaine's diary fills in the (small) gap leading to what you get from Tennenbaum's diary at the beginning of Arcadia. Also, the very first loading screen was (and I think that one like the other level loading screens are pre-determined), had a newspaper quote about Fontaine going down in a shoot between his and Ryan's goons. Little things that are easy to miss of forget definitely impact the story telling. Atlas did have to run away because of Ryan's splicers, though, from the map you get to use, it's never been clear to me where he's supposed to have gone. He should be there in Arcadia, but according to the story, he's definitely in a different section of Rapture. But that's more once you get to Fort Frolic, so maybe he was in Arcadia and then heads off elsewhere to avoid meeting up?

Several times I could hear a 'ticking' sound and I was screaming "That's a Kevin! Get the Kevin!!' If they're knocked out, they start ticking down faster and faster, and when they reach zero they explode, but before that you can find them and hack them. But you didn't hear it.

I really enjoy using Target Dummy. My favorite method for dealing with turrets and giving me breathing room. Turrets aren't hackable when they are arggroed to the player, so disabling them by shocking or freezing works. But distracting them with a target that isn't the player works just as well. In fact, this works with Security Bullseye, too. The reason why it's my favorite method is because it can handle multiple turrets in a room for a single cast of the plasmid. In addition, it'll distract any other enemies in the vicinity - giving you the perfect opportunity to hack the turrets. Best of all, it's very economical when compared to Winter Blast or Electro Bolt. You could use the flamethrower's alternate ammo, liquid nitrogen, but its duration isn't as good unless you stay on target which may be difficult to accomplish. Not to mention that it's the perfect complement to my personal plasmid loadout of Enrage, Sonic Boom, Electro Bolt, and Insect Swarm for maximum chaos. Use Target Dummy to give me a moment to target some enemies with enrage and then let loose some swarms. Then if there any stragglers, I deal with them with Sonic Boom and some weapons of my choice. Good time!

I saw your comment in the last vid that you were starting B2 on Monday so you are probably done B1 by time you read this, but just wanted to mention that you can use wrench on the 1st aid stations like you tried, you just needed to give it a few more hits. Another thing about the electric wires, Telekinesis works on them and uses alot less eve then fire or elec. I usually just used a pistol on them cuz im cheap..lol. Also there is a chameleon tonic you can get which turns you invisible if your standing still, very nice for bot alerts and other fun situations. I think you need to research 3rd level houdini splicers with camera to get it. ( which would make sense) Have fun with B2 !

Normally the lab siege bit has a little sister locked in their with you, which makes the big daddy defend the place much better and makes it much easier. But you'd already saved all the little sisters so you had to more or less do them yourself. The reason the big daddy got so pissed off at you is because you had that thing on, forget what it's called, that causes an electric area flash when you get struck, and he was standing right behind you when you were hit, and so got mad at you. You probably work that out later because it's critical to remove that when hypnotizing big daddies which is the most powerful thing in the entire game.
