@@whitephoenix4230 Considering how hard Ace combat 7 was apparently to even get released I'm sure it was more to get a good enough story out the door (sorry not as great as 5 or 0 but still good). I think though if they did another story like AC3 where it had numerous endings it would sell really well as no other flight game has this that I know of. And since 7 did sell really well who knows.

I know, Ace Combat 3 had that and I was hoping Ace Combat 7 was going to be like that because of the fact that soo much attention was focused around the princess and Mihai on the trailers, but in the end, we never had a choice of betraying Osea and join the Eruseans, I mean, we are in 2019 and they couldn't bother to put multiple ending or player choices in the game, even though they did that 20 years ago, in a game from 1999. And i have to say, we dind't even got a GOOD linear story, ace combat 7 story is mediocre best when compared to the older games. And seriously, when are we going to have multiple payloads/special weapons on the aircraft...

agree, even if you could effect just a little. You can fly over and shoot mihaly all you want on mission 3 but it doesn't matter. If shooting him made him run off and brownie lives even just to fly around and read a couple lines in the next mission it would feel nice, but branching paths would be the best ac7 was the best selling ace combat on launch don't forget, I think the game might have a future beyond the planned dlc, certainly the series does anyway. They should be able to create more ambitious experiences now

I also believe if the second Raven uses the TLS after the first goes down, you have a BIT more time to shoot it down before it instakills Wit. Kinda nice PA gave us, in a game with dozens of forced deaths, the opportunity to avert one of them. Difficult as it is to prevent it.

I prevented Wit's death on my very first run of the mission, crashed like a dummy in the tunnel, and restarted the mission cause I'm a no checkpoints perfectionist, and then he died. I shoulda kept going :c

considering how in an interview they mention how they restarted the development of the game, maybe that is the reason why Wit doesn't appear in the ending even if you save him. the same thing can be said about the voice lines that appear if he lives, maybe the game had different routes or something. OR MAYBE I'M COMPLETELY WRONG

I don't think that's it. This is a minor variant on the ending, while that was a complete overhaul of the game. This mission might not even have existed back then.

For what it's worth, even "Wit and I will take care of that one" and "Roger" are reused lines. They play in a previous mission as well, I believe it was Lost Kingdom if you dogfight Sol long enough.

You can only down 2 of them (they aren't marked so the game plays makes them be the other 2) then Wit and Seymour gain plot armor while Mihaly fires thes Railgun shot.

Best way to kill em fast is to use a Railgun, now the only matter now is your accuracy. But hey! You can use QAAMs too with Enhanced/Increased Homing and Damage part.

Sooo fun fact, the drones only go batshit when getting locked by missiles or scripts. Script example, skoll squadron or what's its name, getting shot down. This means that, if you bring an non lock on weapon, like the railgun or MG pod you can obliterate them easily on ace difficulty. And there's one part where they both fly up like 1 cm from each other when not going batshit. So, using that, you can kill both of them from full health in a Mig 31 with PLSL at that part, saving Wit, on ace difficulty. And I don't need to explain that that's the best ending to a ace difficulty playthrough.

It is worth noting that Su-30M2 and Su-30SM, although they belong to the same family and have common roots, are diametrically different. Su-30M2 is based on the export version of MKK produced in Komsomol nad Amure, which was put into use in China, Vietnam, Venezuela, Uganda and Indonesia. It has ordinary engines, unchanged construction and inferior avionics. It all makes him cheap. Su-30SM, in turn, is based on the MKI export variety produced in Irkutsk, which went into service in India, Malaysia and Algeria. It has a front tail (like Su-33 and Su-34), thrust vector engines (as in Su-35S) and modern avionics. The buyer may choose avionics of Russian, French or Israeli production. Which makes him more expensive. In the Russian Air Force, there are more Su-30SM than the Su-30M2. Summers also in sea aviation of Russia, in Kazakhstan and in Belarus. The game mentions that in the aircraft descriptions. I've advocated the MKI should be the top Flanker in AC for years, but it seems they completely refuse to use an export designation. Had to be adopted by Russia first.

I think its cool how there are these elements throughout the missions where you can circumvent scripting and the game acknowledges; M11 is another good example. Obviously there could be more of (being able to kill the F-18s on M09 comes to mind), but I think they put a lot of effort into it.

My strategy was this: count off enough missiles for each drone don't try to shoot one of them down too soon otherwise you miss the opportunity. The main key is to hit them both at the same time within 5 seconds apart. If you miss one missile after downing the other drone, Wit dies.

Has anyone ever considered that you can save Erusea’s aces, but not your own. Brownie, Golem Squadron of Osea: Hunted down by Mihaly and shot down. Cannot be saved. Full Band, High Roller and Champ, Spare Squadron of Osea: Shot down in various ways. Cannot be saved. Wiseman, Cyclops Squadron of Osea: Loses a duel with Mihaly and shot down. Cannot be saved. Wit, Sol Squadron of **ERUSEA** : Might lose against the ADF-11s, but can be saved by the player.

My strat for doing this is the F-35C with the 4AAM. If you wait for the right moment you can take them out in one shot.

The reason is simple. Wit had to be removed to make a nice final formation for Trigger. Even Count was removed from that too in the last minute

I can only save Wit when I'm using the raven with drones. I usually send 5 drones after hugin (it launches its own drones after 4. The 5th I'd just to lower it's health), and then I work on downing their mini drones and taking out munin. Then I try deal with hugin before wit dies

I hope I'll have more luck next time I'll attempt this mission. Usually those WEAPON UAVs take down my MSLs and QAAMs before they reach Hugin/Munin :/

Which is why you make a note of which one you damaged enough to launch the weapon uavs, destroy the weapon uavs first, attack the OTHER one after all four weapon uavs are destroyed, and then rush to kill the first one once the second is down. With some luck, you'll destroy it before it kills Wit.

What i dont get is why didnt the staff just shut down the antenna and the service bulkheads of the space elevator? Also why didnt trigger land the jet in the tunnels? These parts literally dont make sense plot wise. Same with the drone factories.

There are 2 outcomes, he dies or lives, and it all depends on how long it takes for you to kill the uav after the first dies. If you couldn't kill the 2nd uav after a time he just dies without bailing out so rip

Just a correction, Hughin is the only one that requires 3 QAAMs, Munin requires 4 I just managed to save Wit on Hard, so that’s how I know

That amount is correct, I just think it applies to the surviving drone, whichever it is. Parts wouldn't matter here, only damage would and I wasn't using it.

Strider 1 Trigger I agree. Chopper could have done what count did, belly landed. Or bail the plane into the river. Wiseman should have stayed out of the fight between Strider 1 and Sol 1, or have 2 endings, if we save chopper, by saying yes or no to his question in the journey home where he asks where to drop the plane, if you say no, chopper bails out and is rescued soon after the battle ends. Wardog actually takes the capital of Yuktobania and battles with ofinir and Grabacr, the battle ends and everyone is safe. If we say yes, the game will continue like ace combat 5 did. Wiseman could be saved if we managed to destroy sol squad fast enough, the mission will contunie as usual. Mission 16 will be different this time around, instead of anchor head, we head to Bana City to stop rouge drones from attacking there. Mission 17 remains the same, mission 18 will be megalith, this time we protect it from invading ground troops, mission 19 lost kingdom is The same expect mihaly doesn’t get shot down, Mission 20 lighthouse is the same expect mihaly fights with us. Mission 21 is dark blue, trigger and mihaly take on the 2 drones head on, the ending is the same, expect mihaly goes in the tunnel with u instead of count, mihaly isn’t bed ridden. But he retires and trigger and him become close friends

How many regular missiles needed to destroy the two bosses? Does QAAM or other speicals deal more damage than regular missiles?

Rule of thumb, 1 special missile = 2 standards. HPAA (stronger) and SASM (less damage if it airburts, same if direct impact) are the exceptions.

This game tried to remind us a lot of Ace Combat 3, and yet it never bothers to actually be as good when it comes to storytelling. We are in 2019, where is the player choices? Scripped battles? really? Ace combat zero and usung war didn't have that, yet a lot of the boss battles were still challenging, and most important of all, we should be able to avoid the death of at least SOME of those characters, and it should influence the story too,.

@@spindash64 Aye, you right, guess we will have to hope that Ace Combat 8 will have to do better, for starters, they should focus on improving on what they have, not trying to reinvented it. I think it would be cool if they brough back the jammer system from the old games back, the special weapons you know? and i also think they should gives a second special weapon slot to go along with the standard missiles and the original special weapon. And give us more variety on special weapons for our aircraft instead of only 3, actually, give us different types of standard missiles too instead of upgrades, that would be cool. And please, bring back multiple ark stories from ace combat 3 and give us dialogue options like in ace combat 5

It's possible, but unreliable. Damaging both first and using high accuracy weapons on the second is still your best bet.

Ace combat joguei quase todos os games da serie e este foi o que trouxe menos aeronaves no game nem pode matar a saudade do nosso F5 TIGER e do TORNADO IDS ou X29 que esteve presente no ace combat 5 mesmo o ACE COMBAT 2 de PS1 tinha mais aeronaves do que o ACE COMBAT 7 isto me decepcionou muito pensei que ACE COMBAT 7 fosse ser bem mais grandioso com uma grande quantidade de aeronaves mas não até a duração da campanha e muito curta quando você acha que esta na metade do game você já esta zerando pronto acabou o game em si é bom mais poderia ser muuiiito melhor era só a produtora querer mas só vai entender o que eu digo quem já jogou ACE COMBAT 5 que alias tinha muitos modelos de aeronaves jogáveis que eu achei que estariam no ACE COMBAT 7 mais uma vez decepção .

Acho que aqui a qualidade vale mais que a quantidade. As 20 missões do AC7 são melhores no global que as 32 do AC5, e a muitos dos 52 aviões são variantes com poucas diferenças e performance e só têm uma arma especial, o que os limita bastante. Lembrar também que é o primeiro AC nesta geração de consolas, é normal haver menos aviões. AC04 tinha 21, AC6 tinha 16.

@@TugaAvenger bom devo concordar que os gráficos estão ótimos mas um game não é apenas gráficos quem já jogou os games anteriores da franquia sebe do que estou falando e quanto a ter mais aeronaves isto ao meu ver seria ótimo afinal mais aeronaves a fazes no game manteria por mais tempo o interesse dos jogadores você sabe que é para isto as DLC que alias as produtoras lançam apos lançar o game na esperança de manter o interesse dos jogadores no game ninguém iria dizer que mais conteúdo seria ruim muitos compram e pagam caro em algumas DLC apenas para ter mais conteúdos por que então seria ruim se houvesse mais aeronaves no ace combat 7 ?
