I just started cash budgeting on Nov. 1st. I had $68 to my name. It was bad... lol Now, just under 2 months, I have $500 in EF, $50 in $1 for my savings challenge, and around $200 in my sinking funds. I love, love, love cash budgeting. It has saved my life!

Looks like you done most of the challenges. Awesome. I didn't do all the various challenges rather I have just 3 challenges. I pay all the bills and leave some for myself for the month, and all that's left is about $500.00 which I put into the max savings. Then whenever I spend some of the money that I left myself for the month. And if I have any 1's or 5's from the money that I use for the month, it goes into savings. Then I have a change jar for all change I get.

Just curious but could you take the tax write offs and just do a bigger down payment on the house? I'd rather see you pay a $40,000 down payment than $40,000 in taxes. Just something you may want to discuss with your CPA and a mortgage specialist. Besides we all know when you buy a house you'll have it paid off in no time with saving challenges! LOL You're amazing and I love being a part of your journey.
