streamer girls should be advised to play paladin, just AA whole game, if you die you won't even feel bad. Why they are keep advising her to play the most high skill caped classes in the game? Mage/Warlock lmao.

Playing a toon with a pet is not a good idea for beginners. You have to actually control that pet. I do better aoe on my lock but mages have more options to control their pulls and keep from receiving damage. Once a lock pulls aggro it's hard to get it back off especially when tanks can't or don't. At low lvls locks are squishy unless they're using their voidwalker pet to hold aggro.

Its a good thing that eyes are brought to the game - but I guess its the wrong eyes. Or rather, people that will not stick around, don't get or care for an MMO mentality and so on. Considering the fact that streamers (esp. big ones like Poki) are treated like royalty and people are just leveling them with mob tagging and shit, essentially makes them *bad* players. It may be fun to see people going bananas and whatnot, and yes, I like the death comps like everyone else. But they are bad players, they bring bad player mentality to everyone else and so on. Worst thing is, this will happen when normal chat viewers decide to give a go to the game and see how *brutal and bad designed* vanilla wow is. No tutorials, no explanations, no nothing. You have to research shit on your own all the time, you have to try and hope for the best, hope you don't get bugged, hope you don't get dc-ed, hope you pull enough social credit in the community to see the endgame etc. And that's for the normal version, god forbid they try the hardcore one, it will turn them off the game for good.

Maybe but a lot of people like this type of more oldschool games. HC also makes it a different experience, like having to pay more attention to the world around you. And even though the leveling is slow, it feels very rewarding when you do level up.

literally anyone can play classic lol, there's no need to be elitist. There are no 'wrong eyes' when anyone has the ability to enjoy the game, there's no special 'mentality' or skill needed

@@Sotanath86q The newer social-media-fused-instant-gratification-consequent-dopamine-hits-or-else generation probably will not make it past Elwynn and then proudly drop off the game. Personally I don't blame them. I struggled with the game back then in 2005 due to lack of knowledge when it released and thottbot was always up or else. Not to mention having to work with unsolved metas and so on. Of course, I 'd much rather have unsolved metas than what we have today where people simply follow blindly a guide without understanding what happens and why, or in endgame disenchant epics because hurr durr the meta says use this green item in this slot - which of course for me is bad game design tbvfh. Thats why I have big hopes for SoD. It's new, and, oddly refreshing. People will again know jack shit about the game, at least a portion of it. Perhaps *that* version will appeal more to people, who knows.
