We stayed at the White Sand Ark Resort at the northernmost point of Sok San Beach. It is run by a Ukrainian/Russian couple who are Lovely and made our stay wonderful. Lonely Beach can be accessed by motorcycle but it is not for a timid driver and requires directional knowledge outside of GPS. Koh Rong is a magical island. Lots of nice memories there. 🏖

I've been following your video for many years. Based on your personality and character, your role should be a little Indiana Jones for Cambodia. Perhaps there is some exciting history that the audience doesn't know about. There are too many food bloggers out there, and, in my opinion, the central focus should be adventurous.

Why not touch on a bit of history about how the place came about, something from the local myth, political or otherwise, something only known to the local people.
@saviyou6 ай бұрын
There honestly isn’t much interesting history about the island. Before it became a hotspot for backpackers it was just a handful of villages that lived off of the fishing.

Very Nice place, What ever you do just make sure you don't stay in Sihanoukville on your way there. Western's not welcomed. Chinese only. They basically colonized it. ruined the best of Cambodia not even English signs and they are very rude to say the least, with overpriced mediocre food... We can only hope the Chinese Gangster Moguls wont buy up the islands too.
@saviyou6 ай бұрын
I've been to Sihanoukville recently and agree with you. Koh Rong is so beautiful but it looks they are planning to build some huge resorts there.
