Today we shall elucidate the Astra Militarum regiment: The Salvar Chem-Dogs.
Drafted from the Penal World of Salvar under the guidance of the Magistrate Judge Callistar, the convicts of their noxious homeworld would fight purely for profit.
Pilfering and stealing anything not bolted down, the Chem Dogs are ruthless yet savvy warriors capable of salvaging arms and armaments in the most bleak of warzones.

I worked at a chemical factory that, I kid you not, was across the road from the local county lock-up. We had a couple guys who did weekend work-release, but all were non-violent... mainly stuff like having their third DUI and what-not. When I was about 14 I saw a whitedwarf in the library. Hadn't any idea what it was but it looked cool so I stole it (edgy teen stuff). When I got home I opened it and I think I read it atleast a hundred times. It was a third world for armageddon issue with details about regiments serving there. The chemdogs was one of them and I just loved to lore. Been hooked on 40k since. Enormous amounts of nostalgia with this one.
