I was always fascinated by the story behind the creation of Saw. In short, James Wan and Leigh Whannell are living the dream. Their hard work and gamble payed off in dividends. It's also why I always had a soft spot for Lionsgate because of their support for horror movies.

I remember when Leigh Whannell was doing the movie reviews for a Saturday morning show in Australia which featured live bands, called Recovery. He's come a long way.

I remember leaving the theater after watching the first saw and this theater was silent everyone left just kind of in a daze but the ending is just so shocking it was literally like a theater full of people who didn't know each other didn't know what to do but we all reacted the same way LOL

What I loved about the first movie is the directors were just out of film school and didn't have a big budget so they only had enough for I think one room and they created a masterpiece which then expanded into a whole franchise

Great video. When I met Tobin Bell I asked him how he managed to stay perfectly still as the "dead body." I only got a joke answer out of him, but I can say he was a very nice man. I also met Shawnee Smith (Amanda) and Costas Mandylor (Hoffman) and they were also very nice people. How cool to visit the actual filming location.

Ugh my favorite guilty pleasure horror franchise!! I know it gets a ton of flak for how absurd it’s become and how convoluted the storyline gets, to the point of being a straight up meme, but I still LOVE the entire SAW franchise! This was pretty cool to see the filming locations and the shot-for-shot parts. Thanks so much for taking us along to see this production studio, it definitely doesn’t look like much, but it’s amazing what a little behind the scenes ‘movie magic’ can create! 🖤😁

the fact you found a piece of rusted razor wire in the area the trap was filmed, cannot be coincidence. That's just a gift to you and, it may be left over from the film, as I'm sure they'd of had real wire at certain points to add that dramatic effect and that piece of the puzzle was left behind for you.

Part 1 is amazing. Part 2 is a very very awesome bad ass sequel. Part 3 wasn't bad. Part 4 was cool. Part 5 is ok. Part 6 is great. Then part 7 was rushed. Jigsaw was cool and so was Spiral.

I’ve always said the Saw movies were some (certainly not all!) of my favourite movies, there just wasn’t anything that came close to them in terms of that psychological seat gripping thrill. Feeling rather ‘old’ being reminded that it came out in ‘04. It’s hard (in my opinion) to find really good horror films to get your teeth stuck into these days. Don’t make ‘em like they used to (although we do have a few gems in recent years).

Apparently, they left the bathroom set up after the second movie. If you search Saw Bathroom Set the director says they leave it up since it takes so long to put together.
