Afterall there are around 4 sides to the story. Slaine Vars UAE Princess/Inaho I separated Vars from the princess and Inaho from UAE because both have different purposes. Inaho is fighting to protect peace, which is what the princess wants. UAE is fighting to defend itself but will wage war if given the chance to. Vars is looking at Earth's resources. Slaine's (together with 2nd princess) wants freedom)

I mixed with Season 2 ending, the war ending felt a bit rushed, both protagonists don't get the girl. One guy imprsoned the other now with only one eye, just goes and play chess with him and ended in a mellow tone, not happy nor sad. While it is a decent ending, it feels unsatisfying and hollow in ways. Something that I don't find in Season 1 ending.
