Although I also love the original, this version is my favorite. This song starts with so much sadness, the feeling of struggling, the desperation of losing so much, as if you’re about to drown. You doubt your own existence, you doubt the meaning of living, and you feel like you’re losing yourself. Fell in love with his music starting from Unicorn OVAs. Half the reason why I love Aldnoah Zero is also because of the music and theme songs. His music always gives me all the feels within seconds of listening. You know right away when it's Sawano's work. So good~. I think the anime will end at the part where the 86er picked up by our loli mascot slightly more. Then the 2nd cour ends at railgun arc or the part where all republic 86 recruited by loli federation. I do wish it ends up at the underground terminal arc instead. Would like to see that certain blade legion.
