It does no damage to the armor but its whats under the armor thats getting utterly destroyed if that saw gets through

@@JohSebBac Hard if with torch only, especially due to the rules limitation and because heat-resistant plate is easy to make with all the outer coat paint and stuffs just like your cooking utensils. The best actually would be a high heat saw blade => The blade to create gap on the outer coat and the heat to deliver inside. On the other hand, if the saw blade managed to even cut deep a bit (0.25 cm? 0.5?) , it may stuck the enemy and create grab situation. Compared to your usual pincer, needle or chopping a blade. The only rival is drills!!

Imho SawBlaze's geometry and driving is what wins this. The blade is great for show, but can't really achieve much, but sparks for the judges.

The saw does no real damages. At least not on a hull. It take time to cut a 3 millimeters plate of metal. And they applie the saw just for few seconds, that's not enough. At least sometime it can make a little hole in a bot. The real damage can appear only if it would hit a well or a technical part like electric wire or hydraulic piston that's not protected.

Why would these be Sawblaze's most epic fights? There's one fight I know is the best of Sawblaze without a doubt... Sawblaze vs SOW! Sawblaze dismantled SOW! The only difference here is that Sawblaze created lots of sparks with that mostly ineffective weapon. It became so much more effective with a thicker spinning disk than a saw blade. And y'all didn't even think to put the recent Minotaur fight in there either?

You know them pants made for chainsaws? Where when a chainsaw strikes it pulls material out that jams the chainsaw? They need to put these on their bots. Everyone uses some rotational device, if you place pads across your bot, the moment they use a blade it'll pull that fabric out and it'll jam up their main weapon. A flat pouch with a fiberglass fabric, it'll pull it out of the pouch leaving you free and rendering them useless.
