Yes, and the many variables. Change the chisel angle it changes approach to the wood. Change the depth gauge it changes the angle of the chisel angle. File size, which two or three sizes can be used. The height of them however, effects the chisel and depth gauge aggressiveness. Then change wood fiber density and you have a very complex Cutting machine.
