Superb quality throughout, easy to assemble. I found the saw to be highly accurate and a delight to use (I am a homeowner using this saw for various projects). I attached the saw to a folding mobile stand to save space and that works great kzbin.infoUgkxPeGkHOMe05FySypTOvYumxMn-xi39oRe as well. However, you have to be sure the saw is securely locking in position before collapsing the stand. I've had many of the brands over the years and have come to point where I only buy Bosch, the extra money is a small price to pay for the quality and ease of use. Treat yourself to the best.

@billythekidd25992 жыл бұрын
THE DIFFRENCE BETWEEN 22.5 AND 30 the amount of sides makes the difference---explanation below a circle is 360 degrees how many sides do you want 8 octagon............22.5* 6 hexagon............30* 4 square................45* it doesn't matter, divide the 360 by the desired sides 360 / 8 =45 360 / 6 =60 360 / 4 = 90 then divide the answer by 2 because the angle your making is shared by two pieces So........... 360 / 8 =45 /2 = 22.5 360 / 6 =60 / 2 = 30 360 / 4 = 90 / 2 = 45 TADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ktsheldon14 жыл бұрын
The formula is Side Length = Diameter (distance from one side to the other) X 0.414. So if your Diameter is 3 ft then each side will be 3 X 0.414 = 1.242 ft which is 1 ft 2 7/8 inches ( www.spikevm.com/calculators/decimal-feet.php) Remember this is the outside dimension when you cut the miter at 22 1/2 degrees.

You are wasting alot of wood from the cut off pieces. You can do this alot easier with no cut off pieces. Cut the end of a long board at 22.5⁰ Now set a stop at the length you want. Flip the board over and push the pointed end against the stop. Cut the miter again. You now have the 1st piece and the 2nd piece has the same miter. Keep flip flopping the board and cutting the miters until you have 8 pieces.

22.5 degrees? That doesn’t make sense for making an octagon. Should be 45 degrees shouldn’t it?
@dnas56294 жыл бұрын
Outer angle is 45 degrees so I'm guessing you split that in half and you land on 22.5 degree for your cut. Inner angle of octagon is 135 degrees. 135 + 45 = 180. Not sure if any of that means anything but there it is.
@NDavaineStudio4 жыл бұрын
Your saw blade is on a 90 degree angle to your wood. So cutting 22.5 off from a 90 will yield you the 45degree angle from the cut.
@amwind14 жыл бұрын
a circle is 360° divide 360 by 8 equals 45. Divide your 45° ends pieces by 2 gives you 22.5° The end pieces equal 45 giving you your 360° circle
