My mother found a stack of boards that my great grandfather had had a sawmill cut to use as side boards for his flatbed farm trailer. As far as we know he died before he used the boards. They have been stored dry in a barn for 104 years, my mom had a talented woodworker turn these boards into a dining table.( some of the saw marks were left on the underside of the table)

I just discovered your channel a few days ago, and have really enjoyed a few of your videos so far. I watched the video where you sawed that huge black walnut. I heard you mention that you were in Western, PA, about 30 miles south of Outdoor with the Morgans. I have been following them for a couple of years. I was born and raised in Beaver, PA, but moved to North Carolina in 1975 when I got out of the Army. I still have a sister that lives in Butler, and several nieces and nephews in Beaver, and in the Butler area. I get back to PA every couple of years or so, and even after all the years I still consider Beaver my home. I am fascinated with what you do, and will continue to watch your videos. Mark it sounds to me like you have bacteria contamination in your fuel. Never had that problem until the environmental regulations took the sulfur out of diesel. Wonderful age we live in. Gov. always improving things so we can enjoy the after effects.❤😅

You would be able to power 800 watts of lights and most everything else you need! Way better than a separate generator running on gas!

That tree must have extended into the stratosphere. Those cherries could only be picked by a man wearing a jet pack. I grafted one thirty years ago and it’s pretty big but nowhere near as big. Maybe a century? Mine got cherry fruit flies and now every one has a big disgusting worm in it.

On the fuel issue, I have run into situations where I had contaminated fuel that had large debris in the fuel and it was clogging the fuel line at narrow areas like sharp bends and fitting areas. Mine was from using 55-gallon barrels to transport the fuel, and the paint inside the barrels was peeling. Then, the fuel lines had banjo fittings going into the lift pump. The paint chips collect in the banjo fitting, I would pull the fuel line off the banjo fitting and blow air back into the tank, never taking the banjo fitting off. Then one day I broke the fuel line system completely down and separated every component, I found 4 different pinch points where the chips had collected. In the 4 years I battled this (I was very young and didn't have access to quality help) it caused the injection pump to fail and countless hours of frustration starting the tractor and keeping it running. The final part that got replaced was the lift pump. I had very little trouble after that. Another possibility that I have only heard about was a disgruntled employee who took the cellophane wrapping off some packs of cigarettes and dumped in the fuel tank, the cellophane was invisible in the fuel, the engine would starve for fuel and the mechanic would blow air back into the tank and it would be fine for a while then plug again. They finally found the culprit when they fully drained the tank through a screen then steam cleaned the tank. They found several pieces of the wrapping. I'm not saying someone did this directly to you, may have happened to the last owner of the fuel tank or something else.

the main filter on the 275 gallon tank needs to be replaced but I don't have a spare one here , I just cleaned it out and good to go for many months now.

Happy Christmas morning. To Mark, Ed, ZZMARK, others. The " blue face" on the cherry log. It remind of The mid 1970s Saturday Night Live's Mr Bill. Mr Bill has a dog called Spot. Both characters would get into all types of accidents. They were made of colored clay. Silly & funny skits. Mr Bill's favorite saying: Ooo! No! Mr Bill! I said this saying. I wonder if you guys do finish woodworking? Cherry is very expensive and retail outlets sell dried and finished cherry in pieces as small as 1” square and 3’ long to make spindles and such. You seem to believe if it isn’t 8’ long it’s junk. I would be thrilled to take most of your junk wood off your hands, particularly cherry and walnut, but even maple and red and white oak. Hickory is also valuable, but is a little more particular about size.
