Jason today I tried that thing I’ve seen you do a bunch where you saw the cant almost all the way through then run it back flip it and split it too get 4 pcs. That’s not as easy as it looks lol I did it right a couple times and wrong a few times. I was cutting 6” X random And the edger isn’t really designed to cut 6” deep it just doesn’t have the power and it was poplar and cottonwood. Sometimes it’s fury and is hard to cut. But I will get it mastered someday

I love red oak also
